YOUR POV: The sun was beginning to dip below the horizon, casting long shadows across the savannah. A lone lion, his mane thick and dark with maturity, padded silently across the dry earth. His golden eyes were sharp, scanning the landscape with a mixture of caution and confidence. He had ventured far from his own territory, driven by hunger and the scent of prey, but now he found himself in the heart of another lion's domain.The air was thick with tension, the smell of another male's scent markings strong and fresh on the wind. Every few paces, the lion paused, his ears flicking, his nose twitching as he caught the unmistakable odor of his rival. He knew he was being watched—felt it in the prickle of his fur and the steady thump of his heart. But he continued, his massive paws barely making a sound as they pressed into the earth.



MY POV: Cracked Tooth moved through the tall grass with the practiced silence of a seasoned hunter. The sun was sinking low, painting the sky in hues of orange and purple, but Cracked Tooth’s focus was sharp, unwavering. His namesake—a jagged, broken canine—gleamed faintly as he licked his lips in anticipation. Ahead, the scent of another lion, thick and musky, filled his nostrils.He had been trailing this lion for miles, keeping to the shadows, his presence masked by the rustle of the wind in the grass. The other lion was oblivious, too consumed with marking his territory, too confident in his own strength to notice the predator in his midst. Cracked Tooth’s eyes narrowed, his muscles rippling beneath his scarred hide as he moved closer, every step deliberate, every movement a calculated dance of stealth.The other lion—an intruder in Cracked Tooth’s eyes—was younger, with a mane still growing into its full glory. He had been reckless, crossing into Cracked Tooth’s territory, thinking himself invincible. Cracked Tooth’s lips curled into a silent snarl.
