Cutter's Den

You enter the lushful territory owned by the mighty Cutter. On the out skirts of the territory you see warnings everywhere, telling you not to enter. Bones from different animals. Lion skulls hung on trees placed as a warning. As you make your way further, you see a figure of a lion in the distance. It is Cutter. She stands tall, bones painted onto her fur, white paint covering her face and muzzle, a terrifying and teethy smile from ear to ear, and a horrifying amount of blood dripping from her eye and muzzle.

You stand frozen in fear. Cutter approaches you carefully, sizing you up. After a few moments she questions why you are here. You answer that you are just passing through. She asks you a few more questions, her rough and dark voice softening by the last few. She believes you. She shows you to the winding river that passed through his territory so you may get a drink before you continue your journey.

She apologizes softly for giving you such a scare. She admits that everything you've seen is an act. She only looks so horrifying to protect her pride. She tells you the story of how when she was a cub, the pride was attacked, leaving them missing more than half of their pride. She only scares people to keep them away. A few cubs from her pride run up, greeting you excitedly. You watch as Cutter plays gently and softly with some of the cubs before sending them on their way. She escorts you through her territory. Before you depart she presents you with a gift, its a bone necklace. She says its to ward off anyone who might mess with you on your journey. Despite Cutters horrifying and scary appearance, she is a sweet and gentle soul.
