The Arroyo Pride
Where many lions choose to settle in the savannah, beneath the open sky, with miles of barren plains to reign over, the Arroyo Pride instead has made their home in the vegetation dotting the coastline. This peculiar bunch of lions is lead by an even more peculiar leader, the Felis Mohala, and they live in the dappled shade of the dewy jungle leaves, with the muted roar of a nearby waterfall.

In your travels, when you nose the lush ferns aside, you did not expect to see a pride of lions here, but you figure you've seen stranger. The lions, relaxed and at ease, turn their heads to look at you with more curiosity than anxiety. A large Felis, reddish-pink in color with shimmering fur and fiery splashes looks up from his recent kill and blinks kindly at you.

"Greetings, stranger," he booms, his voice calm. "You look weary. I reckon you're the type who travels a lot, hmm? Well, come stay for as long as you'd like. My pride does not know borders so long as your intent isn't to cause harm."
