- Settled among the marshes of these lands by Fallen Stone, our first king, this pride embraces the importance of spirits and the souls of all living things
- This includes mutated lions, which are revered for being able to survive despite their differences. Primal mutations of ANY kind are even more revered, and are usually the shamans of the pride thanks to their ancestral blood.
- The shamans are second in command to the leader-- our first, Fallen Stone, chose the title 'Chief', but any term may be chosen-- and serve to make sure their reign is honest and cruelty free. They also serve to connect our world and the spirits.
-After learning of Whispering Sky's mistreatment of lionesses under his reign, and his ruthless behavior, Fallen Stone and his oldest daughter Iris Petals went to confront the so-called 'king'. The battle which ensued lead to Fallen Stone's death, as Whispering Sky used his training from Vashkartzen for evil. Iris Petals was swift to take down the traitor, enstating herself as leader of the scouting group to prevent further mishap.
-With Iris Petals gone, and Fallen Stone dead, it was up to the Shamans to choose a new king. Cavern knew this. He knew this and he wanted to be chosen. So, with a quick bit of trickery, he faked a sign to Dusty and Feral- leading to his enstatement as the pride's new king. And while Fallen Stone had never liked the term 'king' and opted for 'chief', Cavern embraced it.
-Before another tyrant could rise, Iris Petals sent for aid from Mizpah to help lead the Soul Pride alongside her. Saving the pride another struggle as Cavern was kicked from power.
