Born to the stern Tyrüs, the mute cub's childhood was a tough one. Due to not choosing to talk, his father believed Darjan won't be able to handle a full pride, that he'll be soft and having issues laying down the law.

He was always skeptical of him and very well let him know all his life he doesn't think the lion can lead good enough.
Darj was raised with a hard paw, to become a strong and mighty king to rule his own pride.

Ty kept being unsure about the whole 'no talking' and never got the point of it, frankly, he thought there wasn't a point to it to begin with and thus, it was an useless behavior. It lead him to heavily be convinced his son could be quite foolish as a leader.

And yet, even though his father thought so, he was always there if Darjan needed him, cared for him and in secret, supported him. After all he was his son, he knew he's strong.
