Eternal Winter..(int story wip)

I’m Eki, the lion who once roamed the sunlit Serengeti. Today, however, I woke to find everything changed. The world around me was blanketed in snow, and the warmth of the sun was nowhere to be felt. The land seemed frozen in time, and I alone treaded through this Desolated winter.

Chapter 1: The Awakening

I stretched my limbs, feeling the cold air nip at my fur. My breath formed clouds of mist as I looked around. The landscape was unrecognizable, with snow-covered trees and a chill that pierced through my usual bravado. As I began to get my bearings, I saw three distinct paths before me:

The Frosted Forest Path: A trail leading deeper into a dense, snow-laden forest. The trees, draped in white, looked like they held ancient secrets.
The Sorrowful River: A route following a river that had turned into a frozen expanse of ice. The ice seemed thick, but I could see hints of moving water beneath the surface.
