Optimus rumbles in a friendly, fatherly way as the newcomer stepped forward into his den.

“Welcome to my pride, young one. You may notice that I share the same name as my forefathers, but it is a name I carry with pride. Do not let me title take you by surprise, I do what I must to become strong enough to protect them.”

He sweeps his paw back across where his lionesses and cubs lay, sharing tongues or returning from hunting.


“That doesn’t mean I am not just and fair, however. I always like to see the truth in both sides of an argument. Please, take some time to rest. Enjoy the comfort of my family and if you have any questions feel free to ask.” He rumbles out a purr before leaving the warm and dry den to go out on patrol.

I try not to stud race. If I do, it’s because my ladies are on or close to their final days of being able to breed and I’m afraid you won’t be able to get to the request before she ages out.
