The Pride

In november, 2023, RayShine bounded through the wilderness alone, eventually ending up on the edge in a deep, dark forest, surrounded by mountains and sky. No other prides to bother them. No other lions to worry about.
Rayshine led his few lionesses to a better spot, one with a wide view of the mountains, near the water for easy drinking, yet deep enough in the forest so they don't get caught. The spot was almost too perfect.
As their pride started to grow, so did the dangers. Crocodiles and eagles threatened the cubs, space simply wasnt enough with all the trees, and they kept getting eerie prophecies that might retain to Redbow, one of the cubs brought in. Despite all this, the pride persisted, and kept their spot safe. They had more patrollers and trained the cubs harder. Soon, the dangers were no longer too much of a threat.
