the pride of the theluji yenye maisha now roams a stark, rugged expanse high in the mountains, where jagged cliffs rise beneath a sky painted with the cold hues of dusk. twisted, gnarled trees with thick bark and sparse leaves dot the landscape, their branches reaching out like skeletal arms against the biting wind. rivers carved from ancient stone cut through the territory, feeding into the icy maji ya uzima ("water of life"), a serene pool that shimmers like glass amidst the harsh terrain, surrounded by hardy ferns and moss that cling to the rocks. the air here is crisp and thin, with a sharp scent of pine and earth, and the only sounds are the calls of eagles soaring high above and the rustle of snowflakes brushing against the cold ground. scattered stones, worn and weathered by time, tell tales of the pride’s enduring legacy and their connection to the mountains. at the center stands jiwe la roho ("stone of spirit"), a towering, frozen rock where the pride gathers to share stories, their breath rising in plumes of mist as the sun dips below the horizon.
the felidae here are cold and stoic, their expressions unreadable and their movements deliberate, shaped by the unforgiving environment they call home.
