PRIDE LORE

Rueden trudges onto unclaimed territory and sniffs the air, before letting out a loud roar. His lioness, Lietta, is by his side with an orphan cub, Timber, following close behind. Determined to find them shelter from the upcoming storm, Rueden digs out a den for Lietta and her adopted son, Timber.

This is where they will begin their Pride, may the gods bless them with prosperity.

The pride has grown, however Rueden's Queen, Lietta, had passed away while giving birth to his daughter, Blythe. He was distraught, but Timber had grown and offered to find him a new Queen, one fitting of Rueden. Rueden looked down to the adolescent and agreed. Rueden then searched for many lionesses and brought them home, and Timber watched over them while Rueden was away in order to choose the perfect one.

Who will Rueden choose?

Timber approached Rueden, before bowing. Coral then emerged from behind him, gracefully, and Timber presented the possible Queen before him.

Rueden... accepted her! The pride stands and acknowledges their new Queen with joy. In two days, the first litter of possible heirs will be conceived!

Lets see if one is chosen.

None of her litter showed promise, and so they were abandoned. Once Coral is ready, they will have another litter of hopefully promising cubs.

After the wait, Coral is finally ready to have another litter. The bats approached the queen as Rueden watched, and declared that 2 cubs were to be born in a few months time.

★ Pride Dynamic ★

The King - Rueden
➥ The King fiercely protects the pride and battles for more territory so the pride can prosper and grow. He is a hunter, protector, and ruler in one.

The Queen - Coral
➥ The Queen is the lead of the Alpha hunting party. She only selects the best to join her hunts, as the Alpha hunting party consists of the Primary Huntresses. The Queen is second in command and gives birth to the Heir.

The Heir -
➥ The Heir is chosen from one of the Queen's litters and /must/ be apart of the King's bloodline. He is chosen based on how much promise he shows, and how he looks.

The Heiresses - Speckle & Narlin
➥ The Heiresses are not related to the King nor Queen, both females are a cub or adolescent that the giving tree had blessed the pride with. The Heiress is also chosen on how much promise she shows, and how she looks.

Primary Huntresses
➥ These Lionesses are the quickest, strongest, and smartest of the pride. They follow the Queen's order and are in the Alpha hunting party.

Secondary Huntresses
➥These Lionesses are the next in line to become a Primary Huntress, and are in the Beta hunting party. The strongest of the party will be personally selected by the Queen to lead it.

Tertiary Huntresses
➥ N/A

Royal Guard -
➥ The Royal Guard is the most promising of the Sentries, and leads them. He is also brother of the Heir. And if anything were to happen to the Heir, he would become the next one.

Sentries
➥ Sentries are Subordinate Males, consisting of the male cubs from the other lionesses in the pride, and the Heir's less competent brothers. They patrol the territory, ensuring safety for the pride.

Royal Brood Mother -
➥ The Lioness in the Royal Brood Mother rank is the retired Queen. This Lioness is tasked with the care of the new King and Queen's young.

Brood Mother
➥ The Lionesses in the Brood Mother rank are the oldest ones in the Pride. A Lioness seen in this rank will always be (Good), (Kind), or (Neutral), and never (Snarky) or (Evil). These Lionesses are tasked with the care of the young.

Temporary Royal Brood Mother - Kora
➥ This lioness will train from a cub until adulthood to become the Royal Brood Mother, until the current Queen is old enough to continue tradition.

Apprentices
➥ Apprentices are cubs old enough to train, and adolescents old enough to patrol or hunt with a group.

Visitors
➥ Usually unsorted lionesses claimed for imp points. Unwanted cubs. Visitors will not stay for long.

Heiress to Queen
➥ The pride has two Heiresses, and one Queen. The reason for that is because the pride nominates two Heiresses, and to be sure in the safety of the prides future, they must duel when the Heir takes over. The one to win becomes Queen.
