Calm River's Den

A dark forest? Out of nowhere? How odd. There's this ominous feel coming off it, it feels like you're being watched. Despite that, you still wander in. There's odd noises, groans, creaking, even screams. You go to turn back but there's none of the path behind you anymore. Your hackles raise as you smell something...rotting. There's a crack of branch, you whip around to come face to face with a lion wearing a lion skull as well as other things. A crow hopping behind him.

"Why are you here?"

His voice is gruff, but calming. He isn't hostile, merely curious that you actually had gotten this far. A younger lion follows behind him, they look related despite the younger lion have completely white fur and mane. You stammer put a response. To which he sighs, ordering the younger lion to lead you out of the forest. To which the younger lion does with a dip of his head.
