Death of the Sun's Den

.☾.✰. You're positively parched from your travels through other territories and need a drink of water. You pull yourself to the bank of the watering hole and stoop to lay on the sand and take in mouthfuls of water. You swear you can hear a sort of footstep- perhaps a pawstep- in the background, but, too dehydrated to worry about anything else, you keep drinking.

"Who are you?" a low voice booms, causing your head to snap up. A large lion stands before you, shaking out his golden mane. The lion's yellowy colors are a bold contrast against his landscape.

"A traveler. Just passing through," you say. Your tail starts to flick impatiently as you mentally prepare for a duel of sorts. While patiently waiting for an answer, more pawsteps meet your ears, and, behind him, a few members of his pride approach. The main lioness, by the looks of it, and a teeny cub. The lion looks at you a moment longer before sitting on his hind haunches. His lips lift into a toothy grin, and you relax a little.

"I am Death of the Sun. But my acquaintances call me... Dots. Welcome to my den, traveler."

Grateful for the lion's kindness, you're now left with a choice. Do you explore further or continue your journey?
