A large territory filled with a strong lion pride lead by Charcoal'Pelt. This king is held to an extremely high standard and is the only lion to be able to breed lionesses in the pride. Said king rules over the pride called The Obelisk, a well respected clan since they commonly keep within the clan and do not cause fights.
Roles of this pride are slightly different than others might be. For instance, Brood-Mothers are a large part of the pride and culturally important to the Obelisk. They are seen as powerful protectors that are the 'rock' of all lionesses in the pride; their pelts are always light in color since it is associated with power and purity. They are in control of the caves, and are seen as second in command to sub-males. They protect the caves from danger when the other lions are out hunting and patrolling. Hunters are commanded and lead by Sub-Males which also watch after adolescents when they leave the cave.
All lions in the pride follow a two-word joint name system in which reflect their pelt, personality, or features. However, Brood-Mothers take on new names when they are accepted into their position. Only the king of the pride can assign names to cubs and new members.
