I'm a massive warriors and pokemon nerd, and I'm currently working on a short story with my sibling, @PlanAIsWeird, about our lions lore and backstories. It might never be public, but it'll be there! A Guide to The Pride
*Read a lions biography to talk to them. These 'conversations' are occasionally updated for specific events, but most of the time they're default. The biographies of any beetles in the mound 'Starry Eye's Pets' are conversations with Starry Eyes, as is the current description of the hunters cave, because she's well... go talk to her and you'll see.
*Not all lions feel like talking! If a biography is empty, you should leave them alone. AKA: I was too lazy to write for everyone.
*Mumblemane, my current lead male, has complex relationships with the lionesses in his pride. His Queen, Dawn heart, has choice words to say about him when you talk to her, no thanks to her exiled attendee, Savannaclaw. THIS IS JUST FOR FUN! The uneasy marriage between them is NOT meant to offend anyone, it's simply the lore I've created for these lions.
*Dawn Heart has a group of lions who are her assigned attendees. Their job is simply to hunt for her and help her manage her duties as the Broodmother and Queen of the pride. They have a higher status in the pride than regular females. The hierarchy of the pride looks like this:
Mumblemane
Dawn Heart
The Princesses (Mumblemane and Dawn Hearts daughters)
The Princess's Attendees (mublemanes daughters from other lionesses)
Dawn Heart's attendees
Mumblemane's consorts
Regular lionesses
Males and cubs
*Consorts are just lionesses whom I like and want to breed with Mumblemane. They have elevated status, but Dawn Heart is constantly trying to kill them or have Mumblemane turn against them. I use the word consort because I don't want to call them breeders or mistresses.
*The Princess's attendees are young lionesses, all daughters of Mumblemane by various consorts, are meant to serve mainly as companions to the Princesses, the daughters of Mumblemane and Dawn Heart. They are treated as the Princess's equals, but in reality rank a little lower.
