As you approach the territory, you freeze in your steps as you witness what most lions would call heresy.
Lions coexisting peacefully with a hyena clan, young and old alike. In the distance, the king could be seen watching over his pride with a hyena cub resting at his side, gnawing on a rib bone.
A voice nearly made you jump out of your fur, and you turn quickly at it.
Standing before you was a Young female hyena, she was with a male, who was eyeing you up and down in a suspicious manner.
"So, what are you doing here stranger?" she asked with a chuckle in her tone.

Silverstone, a plain and ordinary looking lion, came to this land with his queen serenity. They took no time to settle, and made the land their territory.
About a month or so in, one of Silverstone's males found a Mother hyena with pups, and, since he was a neutral fellow, gave her a chance to explain herself before just simply killing her or chasing her off.
She was only trying to feed her pups, so he welcomed her to the territory, and allowed her to eat from the kill pile, and from then on struck an unlikely friendship, as she started repaying the favor by offering protection to the lionesses cubs and bringing in fresh food.
From then on, this marshland became a haven for both lion and hyena alike
