INTRODUCTION

You prowl silently into the unknown territory. Shifting your weight on each paw evenly, you stalk in the tall grass, where nobody can see you. Peering through the grass with your keen eyesight, you can see a pride. There is a twisted tree looming over a small waterhole with a series of stone caves against a mountain wall. Before you know it, you hear someone behind you. Twisting around, you see Setesh himself. The golden lion looks down at you with his amber eyes with a smirk on his face. "What brings you here, traveler?" he chuffs. "Come, no need to hide, you seem tired. You should come greet our pride."
RANKINGS

SETESH
The leader, the chief, the commander, whatever you choose to call. He is the one in charge, and is highly respected.

SUBORDINATE
The subordinates are the two males who assist Setesh in ruling the pride. When Setesh passes on, one of them will be chosen to continue his dynasty. The current Subordinates are Anubis and Sol.

MATRIARCH
The highest rank given to lionesses. This rank shows they have worked hard enough to reach this ranking. They are usually given this rank if they have been doing service for the pride for a long time. The Matriarches are the ones who are also highly honored. They are the pampered ones, who are always to be fed first.
Head Matriarch
The Head Matriarch is the one who has served the longest, and is as highly respected as Setesh himself. The current Head Matriarch is Bastet, the first lion to join Setesh's pride.
Bearing Matriarch
Matriarches who are still Offspring bearers, but are pampered like a Matriarch. Usually given if Setesh believes their appealing genetics should still be passed on to the new generations.

OFFSPRING BEARER
Offspring Bearers are the hand-selected groups of lionesses chosen for breeding in order for their appealing genetics to be passed down.

HUNTRESS
Usually the rank where Setesh wants lionesses to improve on their skill and give service to the pride. Almost every lioness hunts, but this group is specialized for hunting.

TIMELINE

2/19/15-2/23/15
There has been a famine going on. Many have left, and we are scrambling to get them to return. Although hunts are still plentiful, they aren't very filling, and there's many mouths to feed. We have assigned more ranks to make sure the important lionesses are to be fed first.
