Hear me roar!

"As I see, stranger, you happened to stumble over my den", the big lion, that rised out of a bunch of grass to walk over to you, said in a dark, growling voice coming deep out of his belly. You should have seen him, he's huge, yet you didn't and to you he comes completely out of nowhere.
He walks as slowly as he talkes but you're not fool enough to believe this is all he's got. You know better. After all you're the leader of a pride as well. And one thing you know for sure: He's the lion whose smell had been cycling you all your way here. This is his territory. You finally walked right into the lions den.
Arriving right in front of you he starts cycling you, while his lionesses are all watching you. Fierce eyes, not missing an inch of movement. They are shielding cups in the background.
"I wonder ... ", he growles deep in his throat, "what the leader of a den is searching in my territory."
Of course he must believe you want to take over. And his head is already low, ready for battle. Coming in good this is probably the moment to explain your intentions before it is too late. Having not killed you right away he might be a lion willing to form alliances ...
