Ateş Kuş of the Flame's Den

THE LAND.

It is very hot here. The sun beats down, unrelenting in its heat. There is little cover to be found in this empty, inhospitable land. Sand and dry, cracked earth stretches on past the horizon, tan and bleak against an endless blue sky.
The only break in the landscape is a small scattering of mountains. At the largest's base, an oasis. It is one of the few sanctuaries in the desert. It is cool here, with many shaded places to rest and a small running spring full of fresh water. A few lucky trees and other plants grow around it. It is here in this small sanctuary and the surrounding badlands that the Lesedi Pride lives.
