Baxion sighed. Young as he was he was deathly ill and looked at his good friend Zeldris "Take care of my clan would you?" softly.
Zeldris nodded. "Of course my friend, though I'm not sure how many will stay when I do. Esta is all ready trying to leave the clan, and most of the lionesses don't like me." softly.
Baxion nodded. "I know, but for the ones that do stay, take care of them." softly.
Zeldris sighed. "very well."
Baxion smiled and closed his eyes for the last time.
The next day, most of the clan left, following Esta to the Preserve, and leaving Zeldris with only a few cubs and Lionesses left. Zeldris sighed and Looked at Diane who nodded and smiled at him. "Of course I'll stay. My father trusted you. As will I.
Zeldris smiled. "My thanks. I just hope I don't let him down.
Byrony, one of the lionesses who'd helped Baxion start the clan chuckled. "The only way you can do that is if you loose faith in yourself." softly.
