Lisianthus 's Den

The land you approached seem to be a large field, almost like a garden, filled with the many colourful flowers already blooming before your very eyes. You became cautious of what held this area. You somehow knew that this place held some type of pride already. This such beautiful place couldn't go without a pride. So you started to walk towards to a large tree in the distance, every step you took. You felt the flowers bend under you paws. You cringe and decided to stop. Not wanting any more stunning flowers to get stepped on. Suddenly a large, cheerful voice could be heard behind you.

"Hello Traveller! You seem to be new around here." You turned around to where the voice came from. It was a young lioness with faded brown fur and bright blue eyes, and it seem that a lot of purple flowers were tangled into her fur, mostly around her shoulders.

You smiled and greeted back with a simple nod.

"You aren't much of a talker. But hello anyway. I'm Cinnamon Fern, or just Cinnamon. I'm one of the lioness in this pride." She said, she raised her chin up proudly.

You nodded again, signalling that you were listening.

"You can probably tell already but this pride is the Flower Kingdom! I know it isn't much of a name but we couldn't think of anything else. The Flower kingdom, as it explains it's self. We live in this huge flower biome. So we normally put flowers on ourselves in our fur to tell other lions what pride we're in.." She pauses and looks around before continuing the conversation.
"I shouldn't really go on and talk more about my pride, my leader never likes to tell anyone about us.. so you should go. I now you only just got here but I don't like lions getting in trouble because of my big, talking mouth."

You understood straight away, before any more talking you said your good-byes and went back, away from the pride's territory. It was a short visit but you felt like you learnt a little about the small pride...

King's Story
Ophrys' Story
Ophrys was a very small cub when he was born. Most of the time his siblings would be playing around, tackling each other. Showing how strong they were, and being in an all male litter. It was quite hard for Ophrys to fit in when he never liked to play. Instead he would be with his mother, walking around in the fields where not a lot of things grow. Mostly dead bushes or weeds, but one day, he was walking and he came across a flower. The first one he ever saw and he was very interested in it. Fast forward a few years and it was time for the king to pick the next king. It was a hard decision to pick one out of the three males, Ophrys, Aster and Aloes. Aloes was picked and became the king, so Ophrys and Aster, the two brothers. Went off together as they were kicked and search for a pride together. But both brothers had different interests which lead to them going different ways later on.

Which came to the part where, Ophrys found this flower place and called it his home for himself and new his pride.

Pride's Story
The Flower Kingdom, named after its plentiful of blossoming flowers, Ophrys, the first king of this pride named it after (as you can guess) the flowers. He, however did start off very small, he had hardly any lioness for to get food and many new lioness moved away as soon as they joined. Ophrys took a step back and tried to see what he was doing wrong, he had not known any of the lioness well enough to talk to, their only reason that the lioness were staying was because the wet season and they needed shelter. Ophrys' pride soon disappeared and no one was left other than himself. He didn't move away from his pride's territory but however hunt for himself. He wasn't that good but found himself having more food than needed. One late afternoon, he headed out to one of the close rivers just outside of his territory, minding his own business he saw a lone calf drinking from the same river. He knew it was a easy meal, so he went down into the bushes, slowly stalking the calf. But before he could leap and give the killing blow, an lioness had the same idea. Off to the far left sat a lioness, her fur glowed in the sunlight, the lioness took off and leaped onto the defenceless calf that had no chance to run. Ophrys was stunned, a lone beautiful lioness was right in front of him, he took the chance to slowly go up and talk to her, it was a bit of a risky move but it didn't once cross his mind. The lioness saw Ophrys, first scared but then a small smile planted across her face. Ophrys had no idea what to say, he tried to say something but stutter half way through the sentence. The lioness only giggled, her small smile grew a little more.
After a few minutes, the two lions began to talk, striking up a conversation that went on for most of the day. Ophrys never really had such a long talk with any lion before, so he told her about his past pride and how it started and failed. He then offered her a place as he's lioness side-kick as he didn't know what else to call it. The lioness that was named Poly (short for Polyantha) happily agreed. A few months the two became close best friends. With that, the two made a pride together, getting different lions and forming a big and powerful pride to call theirs. Ophrys soon found himself falling in love with Poly and told her, she felt the same way and both ended up being King and Queen of the Flower Kingdom!
