Moran's Den

The Ngorongoro Crater is the oldest volcanic caldera in Africa. Because of the depth of the crater, it is extremely rare for outside lions to make it into the crater to introduce new blood to the Crater Lions. However, since the 1960s, four outside lions have found their way into the Crater, helping to preserve the lions.
The Crater teems with wildlife and has numerous water sources available. Lucky for the wildlife that it's rare for humans to make it into the Ngorongoro Crater.

This den has lions that are aging up tomorrow - there is currently not enough territory to cope with them all!
