It's extremely frustrating, and disappointing when you breed 2 custom based lions, and get cubs in unwanted creams, golds etc. We accept this as part of the game, and deal with it in our own ways. From, sighing, and chasing the cubs away, to curling in the corner of the room crying. ;-P What if there was a small percentage chance that a cub from 2 custom coloured parents would come in a colour that you can ONLY get through breeding? It would be like a lottery, getting the odd prize cub would offset the losses a little. |

I support this option, but with certain limitations... (A) both parents are from the Oasis and/or (B) 1 parent is from the Oasis and the second is from Oasis only lines - NO wild claimed lionesses nor rolled lions in the lineage. and (C) If a lion/lioness has the new/rare base, it has the same tiny chance as any other that isn't the rare color to produce cubs with it - not that it has an increased chance because it is that color already. My reasoning: I would not like to see mass breeding of everything with a virtual uterus in attempts to get the new bases... that will only flood the market with more unwanted cubs. The need to have Oasis lineage will also help encourage others to buy Gold Beetles to have Oasis lionesses, not just lions. In addition, by keeping those cubs/lions/lionesses of the new rare color at the same reproduction chances as any other, it helps keep the color rare... (Look at Maltese... hours after its release, people were already flooding the Stockpile with Maltese cubs.) 0 players like this post! Like? |

I agree, Duck, but some lions/lionesses you have and you customize them through Oasis items rather than using the customizer, because you can't get special pelts, etc. in the Oasis. Maybe only custom coats and specials that breed could have a chance of a special bred cub? 0 players like this post! Like? |
