Hello! This is just a news post to give you a quick explanation about the Other Games board being removed, and to enlighten you on some new stuff! :D This is a small edit to the original news post as we felt the old one encouraged a fair amount of drama, and we want to keep things friendly and nice here!

First and foremost, you may have noticed that the "Other Games" board in the "Free For All" section has disappeared, along with the appearance of a new rule in our Terms and Conditions. Our terms can be found linked at the bottom of every page on the game, for those of you who want to freshen up on what is and isn't okay to do on Lioden.

The new rule is:

2.20 Members may not post advertisements to other Browser-Based games, start up discussion threads about other Browser-Based games, or plan other Browser-Based games on Lioden forums.

We don't allow any trading with outside games with Lioden items, currency, lions etc and unfortunately a lot of this was still going on. Alongside this, threads were becoming spammy, and we noticed a few sites "inspired" (heavily - nearly to the point of outright copies in a couple of cases) by Lioden popping up and this isn't something we want to actively encourage.


Don't worry about your adoptable/clickable pets - you can post DragonCave eggs or Magistream eggs etc. still in Free-For-All forums, or post stuff on your personal Den as always.

Onto Brighter Things...

We have a Male Lion previewer! We have jokingly called it The Lion Wardrobe as we feel that it's not really part of the RP aspect of the game, it's mostly a fun tool for members to use so they can see what a certain background or decoration or marking or base would look like.

The Lion Wardrobe can be found with the Scrying Stone, it is free to use, and at the moment it only has male lions to preview. There are future plans to dress up lionesses, teens and cubs, but we thought we would give you this as a taster now :) it may not be entirely working, but if you find a decoration or marking that doesn't show up in the list, or on the lion, please let us know on the bug board!

Reg Flags Everywhere
You might have noticed that forum threads have a little red flag on the top left of the first post. This is a new initiative to encourage members to report bad behaviour on the forums, and also report threads which break our terms and conditions. All reports that you make are completely anonymous. Only the moderator who claims your report will know who you are, and there will be no signs that a thread has been reported until a moderator chooses to get involved with the thread directly.

Modbox Updates
We've taken some time to clean up the Modbox. There is now a list of possible situations in which you might need to use the Modbox, and it's clearer on how to submit and maintain any tickets you create. I want to take the opportunity now to reiterate a sentence on the Modbox page:

You can report a member who is breaking Lioden's rules completely anonymously. The member you report will NOT be told who reported them.

That means if you report a member for their behaviour, the member will not hear that you are the person who reported them. Moderators will handle your situation with full anonymity.

Reporting an Admin
We've had a couple of members mention that they feel uncomfortable with one of the Admins of the game. You are still welcome to contact one of the other admins and discuss the matter that may be bothering you. It is most likely a misunderstanding, but we will do our best to try and clear up any issues that may have arisen. We don't want you to feel uncomfortable here at Lioden :) let us know what's bothering you!
