We should have quick and easy access to coding tools. For instance, I have no idea how to make a link an actual link here! And what about images? How do we paste them in? Know what I mean? I don't mean a guide. I mean right where we go to reply to threads, we have full access to all the coding tools. Check this out if you still don't know what I mean: http://tinypic.com/r/xmvac7/8 This idea comes from chickensmoothie.com. |

They would most likely have to completely redesign the Chatter section to support PHP. It doesn't take that long to type in the HTML code required to fancy up a post. No Support, sorry. ![]() |

I support! :) I would love if the forum was more like 'a forum'! Would love too see it, because HTML can be a pain in the gulliver. :) ![]() |

But why would this destroy your enjoyment for coding? You could probably write it in yourself if you so choose. Those who dont want to will have the buttons. I dont see how this would affect you negatively. ![]() |

Support. I do most of my own basic coding to help my threads look fancy. But it would be so much easier (and quicker) if it was already in the reply boxes, like it is for most other forums. Good idea~ ![]() |

No support. There are guides to show you how and I believe this would be something most people don't need. ![]() |

On the contrary, I believe it would be extreme helpful. And let's be honest. Not everyone likes to read guides no matter how short or simple they may be. I don't see why we can't have both. Plenty of guides for those who want to read, and have the codes in the reply box for those who don't. ![]() |

Support, this is totally needed in some circumstances. If you prefer to type in the codes, more power to you. You can still type them in if you really wish. This would make things convenient for most users though. We can have both. ![]() |

I support! I easily get confused and my laptop's touchpad is really sensible so sometimes things I type can get scrambled without me noticing if I don't look back carefully (ex: for ple thisexam). Besides people who enjoy writing the code themselves can still do it. ![]() |

I'm kind of in the middle for this. They could easily implement the buttons under preview, reply, and bump, but it really isn't necessary at the same time. Sure, if they had extra time go for it. However, if you really don't know how to form a link, check one of the many HTML guides or just Google it. Honestly, to me it'd take longer to manually press the button to get the code. At the same time, this would help out if on mobile I'd imagine. ![]() |
