I would love if they could expand eye colors as well. Ugh I hate the same old yellow, amber, black, and brown. Maybe if a male reached dreamboat, there could be grey eyes or something rather simple that people don't want as much. :)

I think it would be preferable for the awesome NCLs to appear very very rarely and at the same frequency for every user, regardless of their level, but that they are much harder to obtain. This includes both an element of chance (randomly stumbling across one) and an element of hard work (getting your impression up high enough). Theoretically a new person could get a snazzy NCL, but it's very very rare - and therefore it's still exciting! Not like, "aw, I'll never get that lioness, there's no point in trying" more like "omg look at how cool she is I have a one in a million shot of getting her I hope this is that lucky shot!"

Like for example, if you'll forgive the slightly esoteric allegory, you're playing pokemon and you find a super rare pokemon. There's a chance that if you're only using the weakest kind of pokeball you'll catch it, but that is a super, super low chance. The stronger the pokeball you're using, like a great ball or whatever, the higher your chances - but at no point is it 100% impossible or 100% guaranteed, so there's still that heart-thumping excitement of will-I-get-it-oh-my-gosh!!

I love this idea, but instead of level affecting the NCL's value or prettiness it would be your lion's impressiveness? I mean, impression is the thing that helps you catch the ladies easier, why not give you a little boost for leaving up your impression? Obviously, a Dreamboat (most likely an experienced player that knows that goldens aren't worth it) wouldn't want to get only goldens, but seeing as that's basically all that's out there, there's not much else impression is used for at that point. It would make me actually look at the lioness if this was added in, because who would actually chase off an albino or malty just to have it possibly become unclaimed? (Yes, know there's an organization for this and all, but the odds are you're not going to get one of the 50 or so good ones floating around, only becuase there are +16,000 members.)

Maybe for the first two levels, lone lionesses would stay the same, but the next level, you could find grays, and the next one you could find browns and dark browns, and after that a small chance of a vandal or white (Sorry if some of these are actually lone lionesses already, I'm just getting an idea). Why I say impression instead of level is becuase there is a limited impression level, and no limit to player level which means they eventually there won't be any reasonable colors to make lone lionesses. (IMO, finding a lone Malty is a bit unfair.)

Or possibly instead of new colors, NCLs would come with more markings. I've seen a few sexy goldens out there, and creams can look great too with the right markings. I mean, most of this game is based on good-looking cubs, and if you manage to find a high-marked lone lioness more often, that would be very nice.

To go along with Starlight's idea, a few new non-custom eyes would be nice to find. You don't often find blue or green-eyed lone lionesses (I'm not sure if they even exist), and maybe there could be a small chance of finding grey or white eyes.

This sounds like a great idea! I keep finding NCLS that all look exactly alike, no change in markings, eyes, nothing! Having rarer and more impressive NCLS show up for everyone, which would seem fair to new users who want a cool new lion but don't have much impressiveness. Yes, though there are plenty of really pretty goldens, grays, and creams, there should just be something else to look around for. :)

I support this for a couple reasons... I really like the excitement of finding lionesses with markings that compliment their coats... like white belly on golden, or brown coat on creams... it just makes me more excited about claiming a lioness than say, a regular golden with no markings. Also, it would make me want to work on my impression. It still goes up as I battle, but if I were to have a chance of claiming a lovely lioness I would work harder at it. Not to mention that they all start out with low stats when wild so I tend to not want to waste my time leveling them up if they are really plain since we don't have ways to hunt more lions at one time. As long as it was implemented within reason I don't see this as a bad idea at all. :)

I haven't had a problem finding pretty lionesses. All of my girls have markings. I received 3 lionesses as gifts my first day here on the site, but the rest I've claimed during explorations.

It'd be nice if some newly claimed lioness could have slightly good stats if a previous person chased them off, like if someone chased off a level three lioness they could have their level reset but the stats would remain. They would be harder to impress mostly because they had dealt with a much more impressive lion- so its like a 1/1000 chance of wooing the female?

Or maybe you could find lost cubs...humm...anyway, support!

I think the same. For a dreamboat lion claiming lionesses is a routine, nothing special, just three random clicks and she's yours xD. I support your idea, here I found connected with NCLs "problem" sugestions:
