The MacDuncan clan is a noble clan that is always true and loyal. They aren't at all evil, however, there are exceptions. The MacDuncan clan stands strong, and other clans are jealous of their strong, stealthy minds and bodies. The MacNamara clan was a wolf clan, mainly of she-wolves, as more than half of members are female wolves. This clan is one of the best and most highly respected clans, along with the MacNabs and the MacDuncans. Many abused she-wolves from the MacHeath clan go to the MacNamaras to escape the torture and abuse they received. The MacHeaths are known for their viciousness and brutalily to members of the clan, usually she-wolves. They would usually maim pups to get into the Watch and take over. Many she-wolves tried to escape to the MacNamara clan, but if the MacHeaths found out, they would send a byrrgis to kill them. Maiming Pups The MacHeath clan is known for maiming pups, trying to get into the Sacred Watch. The reason the MacHeath wolves do so is because of their genetics; they cannot produce physically deformed pups. While their minds may be twisted and warped, they are incapable of producing malcadhs. It is as if their spirits are deformed rather than their bodies. The Pit When a pup is disobident or rebellious, in the MacHeath Clan, they are theatened by their parents or the cheiftain with being thrown into the Pit. The Pit is a deep stone canyon, with a rabid wolf living in it called Old Cags. Very few pups die in the Pit, from starvation or the disease, and if they do it is normally from suicide. Those who survive return to the clan "moonblinked." Cags needs the pup's name to moonblink the pup, and as soon as he has their name, he will say it over and over again, causing it to bounce and echo off the canyon walls and make the pup confused and delerious. When it returns, its eyes are all cloudy and stoney and they obey everything. It is mentioned that most pups who return from the Pit are quiet and sickly, and often die young. A Chieftain is the leader of a wolf clan. In the clan, they have the highest rank, they'd only submit to other wolves when either they were coming into other clan's territory or when they encounter the Fengo, the highest ranking wolf of the Beyond. Fengos are the 'chieftains' of the Sacred Watch. A lord is what a pack leader or higher-ranking wolf of a pack of the wolves of the Beyond is called. They are the highest-ranking wolves in a pack. Chieftains are the lords of the Carreg Gaer packs. Lords are the highest rank wolves in the pack. In real life, lords can be compared to the alpha of a pack. A gnaw wolf is the lowest-ranking member in a wolf pack and clan. They are malcadhs, or also known as cursed wolves, who have survived after being abandoned by the Obea on a tummfraw and somehow made it back to their clan. They are then given a name and put in a pack. They must sleep off pack boundaries, eat last though usually the meat will all have been taken already, and endure endless abuse. They are subject to regular bites, kicks, punishments, and verbal abuse. Most of the abuse they recieve is unjustified, and are given to them for no significant reason, except for the fact that they are considered "cursed ones". Many malcadhs that return to their clans turn out to be extremely talented wolves. Treatment Gnaw wolves are subject to regular bites, kicks, punishments and verbal abuse, but the worst of these is the gnaw bite. Their deformities mark of a living symbol of bad blood, and somehow the clan rids itself of the bad blood through the mistreatment of gnaw wolves. They are lowest-ranking wolves in the pack. When approached by higher wolves, like the pack leader, they are required to: • Go down to their knees. • Lower their heads. • Lay back their ears. • Grind their face in the dirt. • Roll over onto their back. • Flash the whites of their eyes. • Tuck their tails between their legs at all times. • Slouch. • Never show dominance to any other wolf. • Be respectful of the other pack members Obeas are the barren she-wolves who are responsible for seeking malcadhs and taking them to tummfraws. They are all barren and in fact appointed because of that. Obeas are rankless, however and each wolf clan has one. If the deformed and sick pups that they have abandoned survive, they can come back to the clan and become a gnaw wolf. Obeas are the old, barren, rankless, and stertile she-wolves. They are frowned upon and gossiped about by pregnant or nursing she-wolves, believing that the Obea can look into their womb and curse a pup. Father wolves seem to look right through them and not care. If you have any other questions, feel free to message me with them. I won’t bite.
