One thing I don't understand, is that when you retire early... your lion actually /dies/? I think it'd be nice if you could keep your previous king alive, in your pride as a sub-male if you choose to retire early. That way, you can still get a few years with them being alive. Also, what if you decide AFTER retiring that you'd rather have your old king back, such as if you didn't realize that your lion's level and impression would reset? You could retire this new king and re-place your old king as your heir, and you'd have him back. Plus it'd be nice for pride stories, such as one lion stepping down and passing kingship onto the next male, but still living. I just find it kinda sad that your old lion actually /dies/ when you retire him. I mean, when an old person IRL 'retires', it doesn't mean that they die, right? |

They wouldn't be immortal, they would still die at age 16. And a king that was already king before wouldn't age down or up. No support. When you retire you can keep your kings looks and get your heirs stats. I don't see a point. Then it would be like 35 Gb just to put him back on the throne anyways. Unless your rich or have a side and for some reason REALLY like your king there is no purpose. No support. c: 0 players like this post! Like? |

Then wait until he is 16 and retire him. That is the end for all lions on LioDen eventually so if you RP him or write stories for him it shouldn't be to much of a problem. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Afraid I can't help you. Just because you want your king alive doesn't mean everyone might. For me, I see no use because all he can do is patrol at the moment, and it is unlikely he is taking over(again). People would use this to cheat and get stats quickly though, just sayin'. Get a old sub male, retire your boy early and rake in stats then retire for free and put him back on the throne. Just saying my reasons, c: 0 players like this post! Like? |

Then just don't choose to keep YOURS alive? :3 It's really simple as that. xD SOME PEOPLE may want THEIR king alive, but that doesn't mean YOURS has to be. Like me, I'd like it if Kikazai could have stayed alive, but that doesn't mean you'd have to keep yours alive-- there'd be an option. And also, no one sells really really old sub-males old enough to make king and just retire for free soon after, ESPECIALLY since old kings reset to age 8. So you'd still have to wait a pretty damn long time before you can 'cheat'. 0 players like this post! Like? |

It's highly unlikely that a former King would still be allowed to stay in the pride once the pride has been taken from him. He'd be far too much of a threat for the new king... Much less that he would even want to stay, after being humiliated like that. >.> 0 players like this post! Like? |

Not really. Sub Males older than 8 years are aged down as you said, so there are probably a few floating around already near 8 or at eight that could take over and enabled cheating. It would take less than a month to find people abusing it if it was put in-game. And then for the rest of LioDen's days (Also, in your original post I re-read something. Your impression re-sets ect. when a new male takes over but putting your old one wouldn't solve anything. You just put another lion on the throne again, so it would re-set again ) 0 players like this post! Like? |
