I am not sure how many use the search feature when getting an idea, but recently I came up with an idea regarding the 'Support feature' and -being aware of the spamming and duplicates- I made an innocent search for it.

100+ threads appeared out of nowhere.

Why?
Because people put how many supports they have within their titles.

Problem:
The word 'support' in titles makes it hard for us to search for the actual suggestions for 'support'.

Solution:
Have a rule that says that the counting of supports shall not be present within the titles. or at least people should realize this.

But we need it, otherwise how does the idea catch the attention of people and the developers? People will not know how popular it is!
We can see the amount of supports under the title of the idea. No need to include it within the title itself.

What about the Game Art suggestions? They dont have support counts under their titles...
I think the first post is a neat place for that.
------------
Thank you for reading.

I know it might seem like a petty problem, but it can be super annoying when we search for specific features.

This suggestion has 70 supports and 3 NO supports.

Thank you! It really annoys me, especially when you can see the amount of supports under the title anyway!

No support, sorry, I honestly don't find it a big deal, if you want something in your title you should be able to put it there, it's not truly harming anything. And when it shows up in recent Chatter it won't tell you how much support it has, and showing how much support a certain idea has draws more attention to the thread, thus making users view it and in return possibly give their support.

Full support! The supporter amounts always get in the way of looking through ideas anyway, they're counter-productive to say the least.
I understand the idea of not wanting to restrict people's titles, but for clarity purposes this will help staff when taking a quick glance at suggestions.

wonderful idea! it will also save room in the title itself to post something that mat catch the eye without having to put like 145 supports xD

@Seria
It shouldnt be the support that catches the eye but the idea itself, so it is necessary to give it a very relevant and catchy title. Adding how much support it has will do little.
With the word 'support' in titles, we cannot search for relevant ideas about 'support' itself. This is the problem. If one is interested in ideas, they will visit the Game Development forum section anyway and will see the supports.

No support for the reason Seria said. Personally, I put the number of supports in my title to let people know that I'm following it and that I haven't abandoned the suggestion.

Then how about putting 'Sup.' or 'S' Instead of the word 'Support'? Besides, the amount of supports is clearly seen in the Game Development board. Why repeat it? Just because nobody is posting in it doesnt mean it is dead. This mentality must be thrown from people's minds. A suggestion is live and valid as long as it isnt rejected or implemented. Age and activity means nothing.
