I'm aware something like this has been suggested more than likely. But it would be nice to know somehow if you've been blocked by another player. It would make it less of a hassle, and or save someone from embarrassment/ angry moments by attempting to PM someone and then see you're blocked after you hit send. Or also save you from asking the person that blocked you on a thread, and embarrassment/ public shaming why they blocked you in the first place. My idea is maybe some sort of icon next to the users name like a red light or something, so you know you've been blocked and then you don't bother PMing that person. Or some other method to know without finding out through attempted PMs. And no one else will see the dot or icon except for you (collective you, not specific to one person) If there is no support, give a reasonable reason. Not 'This sucks.' Or just say no support. |

I would like this to be added. :3 I only have a few people blocked so far, but I bet quite a few people have blocked me from my very angry rant a bit ago. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I would love a little symbol. However, I'd be a little scared about how many people have blocked me.. ^^" 0 players like this post! Like? |

I support. Not sure if I've been here long enough to have caused enough tension to be blocked, but it would be nice to have a little symbol or icon to warn me before I risk walking into a hornet's nest. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I Support, for reasons. Ok- I've got no-one blocked, but there's bound to be someone who annoys me at SOME point. As hard as it is to get on my nerves~ I don't do anything to get myself blocked 99% of the time but eh. I don't cause a fuss. Something musta happened, I won't go terrorizing people about it though. Or go crying about it. Just a game -shrugs- 0 players like this post! Like? |

I feel like this would make drama though. Like, people asking other users to said said user why they blocked them, using a secondary account to ask why they were blocked, etc etc, when the person probably just wanted to end the situation. Just my thoughts. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

I disagree with this for Westly's reasoning. It would start drama, shaming, bad-mouthing, etc. and Lioden doesn't really need that. I feel like it is better being Anonymous. I personally think that if someone blocks you, you shouldn't be asking them in a public place [threads] anyways, as it is unnecessary and defeats the purpose of the blocking. And like you said, it may be embarrassing. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

I support Echo's reasoning on the telling whose blocked. It's up to the user why they blocked you in the first place and it could be for valid reasons such as non-payment, harassment, or posting on your thread and trashing you in public and then there's the infamous I just don't like you blocking. I don't want who I have had disagreements with to be aired like that. It'll cause more drama and Xy and the other admins have enough on their plates. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I would like something like this, or just something under your own blocked players saying who blocked you. But others have highly valid reasons, it can lead to harassment ect.. They have swayed me for now, as much as I might like it no support. =^w^= 0 players like this post! Like? |

No support. Blocking should be anonymous. As far as I'm concerned, you really shouldn't be able to see any evidence that the person you blocked exists, and the person you blocked shouldn't be able to see that you exist. (They shouldn't be able to see your posts in the forums and vice versa, their territories shouldn't show up to attack, and you shouldn't be able to go to their den, and they shouldn't be able to go to yours.) This would ease so many problems. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

No support. Having people know that they've been blocked by another specific player will cause nothing but drama and more issues. Even now without having any sort of symbol telling you you've been blocked I've seen people throwing fits when they realize they have been blocked, they then go on to try and confront whoever has blocked them via chat or forum. The fact of the matter is there's a lot of salt around LD, no need to implement a system that would just antagonize the already existing problems. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I can see some pros and cons for this suggestion so for now I shall remain neutral. If it would go through I might have a small side suggestion for it; maybe something like a button of sorts for the blocked person that would send the person that blocked him/her a notification that the user would like to hear the reason they got blocked. it would be a one use per user button to avoid spamming and it would send a notification with a reply/don't reply choice (a bit like the support/no support buttons) so that the person that blocked the other person would have a chance to explain why they blocked the user if they want. If the user decides to reply they get a chance to explain to the blocked user why they got blocked, so the blocked user can learn from it. the reply button would open a block note/message space (with maybe a maximum amount of characters/letters?) in which the user that blocked the other person could type the reason. after typing their reason they would hit send to notify the blocked user of the reason. this would result in a notification with explanation to the blocked user without giving them a chance to reply. If they don't want to explain (for personal reasons or because the reason is obvious) they just press the don't reply button and the blocked person would get a notification that their request has been rejected. As mentioned before they wouldn't get a second chance to ask (rejected requests and accepted ones alike) because this could result in spamming the user that blocked the other user. 0 players like this post!
