I think a size limit is a good idea, but also I like the idea of toggling custom work off. Some computers just cant handle the amount of stuff on some pages!

Everytime someone makes this suggestion, it gets a TON of supports- mine included!!!

I don't know why they can't at least make it an OPTION to hide custom layouts (or a requirement to turn them ON) ... if that's too hard, they should just disable that choice entirely, because it's stupid how many times one of those chokes my computer to death.

Part of the GAME is being able to go to another's page (like a branch, where there is NO NEED for custom layouts, and in fact they can be used to cheat folks by changing the font or style the prices are shown as) or to click on a territory square to fight another player for skill, territory, or experience- you don't know they have a HUGE custom page until you click on the tile or the sales link on the search!!!

We don't have the OPTION to NOT load those HUGE pages.

Dammit, I wouldn't want to pay for the HUGE Data download on mobile for this, if I did Mobile, and if it chokes MY desktop and high speed internet, I assure you, it's too damn much code/crap- because I have a GOOD connection and computer.

There used to be custom CSS allowed on forums and such as well, but they removed it because the neon colours were painful on the eyes and some seriously looked like a rainbow unicorn spewed rainbow vomit all over the page.

I love being able to customize my den and looking at other peoples' dens, but sometimes it's a hassle (FFFF MOBILE WHYYY) and downright painful. Not everybody wants to see done up pages and I don't see why a feature to simply disable viewing custom css (maybe just a dropdown like for hiding custom decors and such) shouldn't be implemented.

maybe they could do a size limit like for the maximum amount of memory that is required to load a page? is something like that possible? I'm not really knowledgeable about programming, so well..

90% of the time I'm on Lioden I'm on my iPad, and even for a relatively large-screen tablet, it's a complete pain when I go to someone's den and they have a million things popping up all over the place blocking half the buttons.

Some sort of limit to the amount of html/css customisation or the ability to turn it off would be great in my opinion, especially for mobile.

support maybe even an option to disable custom css as well. I have a decorated den myself and it can be a big hassle when i'm tired or blurred eyes and my phone doesn't like my den because of it. I love my den and I like looking at other peoples but it would be nice to just be able to temporarily disable for when it's late at night or if I have a headache
