So, it might be really awesome to have a way to purchase ads! The Ads chat is great, but people have to purposefully go to it to view ads. It would be nice to have another way to promote items/art/coverings/etc and have them displayed for other users to see. |

this wouldn't be a way for the site to increase revenue, really. It would cost SB. Personally, I like it when I can see ads placed by other players - how else can I know when someone is selling something really cool that I haven't been looking out for in the forum or chat? Guys, I think Shivs is talking about advertisements for items/GB/lionesses on LioDen. On Alacrity we have the advertisement/"shout box". It's a box to the upper-right corner of the site and it costs $100 Alacrity $$ to post an ad there. The ads rotate/switch with every refresh and last 6 hours before they disappear from the ad board. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I had seen this thread earlier but had no opinion about it until now. I don't really want to see this sight becoming all about trading/selling. If ads were put up I'm afraid it will look like it's mostly about trading/selling your lionesses rather than catching your own and actually PLAYING the game. I just don't want players to get distracted by the ads and make it so that the game is mostly about that when it's not. I know the trading system is new and all and everyone's excited about it but I don't want it to overload everything else. While I know ads work fine for other games such as Alacrity and Leayph, I don't think they'll work for this game. Sorry but no support from me :/ 0 players like this post! Like? |
