I'd like to suggest the option to collapse the chat box, like "minimize" it so when you don't want to see it, it's not there.

Maybe it's not that big of a problem, but sometimes the chat can get pretty annoying or even borderline offensive, and I don't really want to be distracted by it. It's always there, though, and hard to just ignore.

You could just switch to a different channel, I suppose, but I think it would be a little nicer if you had the option to remove it from sight when you wanted to, for whatever reason.
