So. I just noticed how frequently my lionesses take back those elephant calves. I mean, it's like an endless fabric keeps handing them over to them :/. So- I came up with a teeny weeny suggestion that might improve Lioden a teeny weeny bit.

Just- Don't let the lionesses take back that many calves. In reality, even 7 lionesses would struggle to take back one calve every month or so. Let alone 5 lionesses taking back 2 every hunt. Well, not every hunt- But you know what I mean. It's kind of unreal to see my lionesses take back this many calves. I could feed my pride and my main pride on just calves if it went on like this. There aren't even that many calves to be produced by the small amount of elephants that live in Africa.

This idea would also go well with the 'lioness get scars from hunting' idea. Because calves are normally protected by a group of full grown, and teenage/younger adult elephants, who could take down a lioness by themselves if they wanted to. Maybe only the fully grown ones, but with a group of 3 fully grown elephants, at least one lioness has to get injured. But this of course is exaggerating. All I had to say was, to lower the amount of elephant calves got whilst hunting.

Maybe you could rarely get an elephant carcass. Possibly even scavenged after an elderly elephant had died and been eaten by scavengers.

Also- Maybe other carcasses could be got through hunting. I am thinking of something like... Hyena's? Lionesses will also sometimes stumble upon a group of hyena's, and when fighting them off, hyena's die. So, it'd be cool to have your lionesses take back hyena's. And then only when you don't have that much food to feed your lions, and when your lionesses are basically starving. Then they could take back an hyena out of desperation.

I also bet there are more prey animals available on the savanna.
