I guess many of us, including myself, aren't really happy with the new stat gain system. as training lionesses doesn't really have any use anymore, if they barely get stats. I see admins saying: "you can now hunt twice/hour, so you can gain 2 stats / hour." yes, and? 1 lioness can still only hunt 10 times a day, which is still 10 stats a day, which wasn't any different from when it was still 1 hunt / hour. while I am still a fan of the old stats gaining system, this is may idea of the admins want to keep it 'low. ---------- Idea 1: Gaining stats is a lucky strike and random. you at least always get +1 stat. but what if gaining more stats would be possible, but simply rare? like this: +1 stats = very common +2 stats = common +3 stats = uncommon +4 stats = rare +5 stats = very rare it's still not much, but at least a little bit higher then now and it's about luck. ---------- Idea 2: Make stat gain related to the prey. Now that prey have rarities (like a Rino and a Hippo being rare, with a Gazelle being common) stat gain could be linked to them. a common prey would only give you +1 stats (reason: it's a prey that they can catch frequently, so their knowledge how to catch it is high, so it's easy to catch. in which they don't really 'learn' anything) a rare prey would then give you +5 stats 'reason: it's rare, so your females don't come across with it every day, in a matter of speaking. getting one down needs more skills, so when they 'killed' such a prey, they learned more = more stats) |

I support! I love both idea's, but I think I like Idea 2 the most :D It does make sense, and that is what they were going for with the new hunting system right? It would make hunting for a prey even more exciting! ![]() |

Leviose, maybe read both idea's first before you even suggest they are the same ^^ as both are different, but just with the same goal ;p and thanks for the others :) I indeed would go more for idea 2, as it has function inside the hunting (hunting for rare prey). it then also gives a sort of goal to hunt certain animals :p ![]() |

I'm fine with either and have supported both. I just want more stats. ;P ![]() |

They better do this quickly, cause I'm getting VERY tired of not going forward with my lioness. They keep bringing in skills, and no stats at all! ![]() |

I'm not sure really. I like the idea on one hand, but on the other I don't. I don't mainly because I think that if the stats are handed out too easily, they will lose their value, as anyone will be able to gain a lot of stats daily. But that's just my opinion. Doesn't mean that your idea is bad :) Would be interesting to see it see it scaled according to prey. Also, I think the idea of half-hour hunts was to make players able to swap out more lionesses. What would take 10 hours now takes 5, so you can send another team for the five hours you save. ![]() |

even if you send out a second team, it doesn't raise stats at all! ^^; I just leveled my lioness from lvl6 to lvl7. results: +3 stats while in the past that would have been +10. they gain nothing anymore, so I don't really see any value in hunting as they simply gain nothing. people that are lucky get +10 stats each day. if I was lucky on the previous system, I got +10 stats in 1 hunt (it was rare, but I mainly got +2 to +5) no you get standard +1 ^^; the result from this is, that people who now have the high stats can sell them for prizes that were already over the top (to be honest) the answer would be : breed your own. But how are you gonna do that? you have a low stat female and all the high stat males become more expensive with the day ... I have no problem with it that some things are made more difficult, sadly this system just ruined a part of my and I guess a lot of people their game play to. I loved to train my females, seeing they gain more stats with each level. now I don't even need to calculate anymore, because they don't get anything ^^; I'm disappointed in this new system and don't see any advantage to it, to be honest. I have worked my as of to get some high stat ladies, ready to train ... now I even can't :( ![]() |

i was getting my breeding stock ready with the plans on getting them high in stats but now i dont even want them anymore because i know they will be lingering at there low stats for the rest of there life =[ they removed one fun aspect of the game and turned it even more into a all cubs are the same just breed like rabbits game ![]() |

Basically both ideas seem to be secretly asking back random statting one way or another. So I dont support. Let me explain. Idea #1 asks for rarity. Now, stats were in a way distributed with rarity. I for one noticed how easy it was to get 1 stat per hunt if you were lucky to actually get one, two stats were also fairly easy, but 4-5 stats were pretty much rare. So, this idea is asking it back. Idea #2 is the same thing. What prey you catch is completely random. I once caught nothing more but rare prey in two hunts in a row on both of my accounts. Otherwise I am getting common, uncommon prey in a random way as well. Thus it would be random what stats you get. Plus is if it actually has something to do with level and stats, then those will catch more rare prey and those will gain 4-5 stats more frequently who already have high stats and levels, so increasing the gap between oldies and new players, which people have been complaining about lately. Needs a little tweaking in my opinion. ![]() Edited on 05/12/13 by Axel (#6627) |

Axel, we don't like the way we get stats now. This idea asks for a compromise, make getting a lot of stats rare, but give us something more then '4stats per day if I'm lucky' Because in case you haven't noticed, we don't get 1 stats per hunt. We get skill quite a lot (or at least I do) and I'm not very happy with that. I can live with 1 stat per hunt, not '4stats per day if I'm lucky' What exactly would you tweak on them? ![]() |

Actually, random statting wasnt more different. I was lucky if I got 1 'anything' then. Mostly my 1000+ statted lionesses came back empty handed and without stats. I was lucky if I got 1 stat, even 1 skill, let alone get 2-3-4 stats at the same time. 4-5 was rare as it was, just as the suggestions say, thus it would be the same thing. I guess it all depends on personal opinion and personal experience, how lucky you are, but at least now you are guaranteed to get something in return. And you can always buy new hunts if you arent satisfied with the stat gain atm. You get more carcasses and more stats. This is what I am doing right now. I am not sure what to tweak, as the idea itself is only wanting back random statting, only trying to give a different reason for it, which deosnt make it less harmful. Let's wait on the word of the staff and what they plan with this. I asked for information about this and they might end up making a news post. ![]() |

yes it was - no matter what I do, if I get unlucky and only get 4 stats that's hardly something you can make up with extra hunts. with the old system, you only had to get lucky once to make up your stats. You can NOT get lucky with this system, and I might have time some days, but I don't always have the time to do what you're suggesting: to keep buying hunts to make up for the stats I'm not getting while others are. ![]() |

I myself dont always have luck, less luck did I have with the random statting, as I rarely got more than 1 stat per hunt when I got lucky. I myself am getting skill, but who says that skill it self doesnt do anything? It actually might be needed to raise the success of a hunt or the rarity of the prey. We dont know. The staff might be able to answer that question. It is all personal experience. Some had more luck with random statting, others didnt. Some have less luck with this system, while others actually ended up gaining more. Statting was surely slowed down like this for a reason. One might be that they do want to apply stats into PVP and NPC battles, but the constant rapid growth makes it hard for them to set a base value. Or they simply think that with the random statting some people could gain enormous advantage and had more luck, thus ended up with higher statted lions than the rest. I myself hunted all 10 hunts with the old system, and I just have my first lioness that reached 300 in one of its stats -and that as second generation. I was this unlucky with statting. Right now they seem to gain nicely. ![]() |
