Sorry if this has been suggested before, I searched but couldn't find anything.

I was thinking, I know we can gain impression through claiming lionesses, what if we gained impression through chasing lionesses? Like a sort of "your king is beautiful enough to be picky about his pride," thing. This would be an encouragement to chase lionesses who are just taking up space and might be able to help the economy a little. It gives people an incentive to chase without devaluing SB anymore than it already is. (Since some people have suggested getting a small amount of SB from chasing.)

Since every impression level after dreamboat gives you exp bonus, it would also be an incentive in that respect, since battling is a little harder now.

This suggestion has 80 supports and 6 NO supports.

What about mass breeders like myself?

I chase cubs al the time, would they count? If not, I just keep breeding until they are old enough then chase. it would make Dreamboat certainly easier XD

Not to mention NCL's you claim for impression, but getting impression for chasing them a hour later? Seems a tad generous

Support. This might help those who can't seem to sell their lions, more people would be likely to buy them if it meant chasing them for more Impression.

Kind of like a money sink, but a... lion sink? Idk, haha.

Cat, I think cubs should count too. But I think the benefit from chasing should be smaller than claiming. (Only 1% per lion maybe? Whereas with claiming you can get up to 6% I believe.)

Perhaps you couldn't get impression from chasing an NCL. Or maybe get higher impression points for higher levels? So if I chased a level 15 lioness I'd get more impression than chasing a level 1.

No support. I see this being abused to the point that achieving dreamboat is absolutely pointless because after you hit a certain level or are a Cub Chaser like myself, then the impression keeps making the bar hit 100, and then I can gain infinite stats there after. It's just not right. We want to reduce cub and NCL populations but not at the risk of inflating the stats artificially by the cheat from chasing to gain impression.

Now keeping a lion till they pass on from old age. THAT. I can get behind.

This would be easy to fix, Roka. Make the impression bar harder to fill after you hit dreamboat. Similar to the way EXP works- the higher the level you are, the more points it takes to level up.

Also like I said, you'd get less impression from chasing cubs and NCLs than you would from leveled up lionesses.

Not to mention:

If each cub/ncl chased gave 1% impression, you'd have to chase 100 cubs to fill up the bar. From there, you only get EXP gain, not actual stats (as far as I know?) and you still have to fill up your EXP bar all the way to get the stats. The higher level you get, the more points you need to get to the next level. I don't think you'd actually end up leveling /that/ fast.

I agree with Roka - it's a lovely idea but as a chaser of around 70% of my lion/esses and cubs, I cannot support this.

But the majority of the lioden population aren't cub chasers.

I can't really support this either. Dreamboat is already a pretty useless trait, only really for the special lioness raffle and claiming NCLs. To make it easier to get to this level and gain a constant flow of stats would be a game ruining feature.

I don't understand why people think it would be a constant flow of stats?

If it takes 100 cubs to fill the bar, cub chasers are going to have to spend roughly 5000 sb to fill the bar (I've seen the average go for 50 sb, so that's what my assumption is based on.) That's a lot just to fill one bar. And keep in mind, filling the bar isn't what gives you stats. It gives you EXP. So you're going to have to fill the IMP bar a TON of times to level up once. And each time you level up it takes more and more EXP to fill the bar.

And that's assuming 1 cub is 1 point. 1 cub could easily be like .25 of a point. Or it could take more than 100 points to fill the bar after dreamboat.

Not to mention, if people can get impression from chasing their own lions, there's not really as much of a need for the cub chasers. It gives people an incentive to chase their cubs and lionesses without messing with the value of SB.

@Babble specifically: dreamboat isn't hard to achieve at all to begin with. My current lion got there in a few weeks.

Still it's easy experience. It's a cheat on the system! And the altered stat gains for levels would make that a problem. You're not seeing how this can be exploited.

No, honestly, I'm not. I don't see how it would be that much different than claiming every lioness you encounter? Either you're going to mass breed in order to chase (and then have a cooldown for twenty days) or you're going to have to spend a /ton/ of sb to get enough lionesses to get so many cubs that you're going to gain that many stats. Its not easy experience. No easier than getting them through claiming. And since battles are harder to win now, people won't be getting as much IMP through those.

If you breed with your main male it costs nothing! That means more inhouse breeding and if you have a den like mine with 40 slots for females, we have a enough that it would be abused. And if our males retire, it's an easy way to get dreamboat, then level up.

Yeah it costs nothing. But cool down is a thing. Forty slots all bred at once is only going to get you 70 cubs roughly.. And then what? They can't be bred again for another 20 days. And that doesn't even fill up your impression bar. And then your only options are to chase your lionesses and buy more lionesses, buy cubs or wait

Support for the economic effect this would have, as more cubs chased means less "reject" cubs going into the economy.
I think that benefit outweighs a bit of extra stats., especially at a rate of 1 point per cub.

The impression gain should be chance based like 1% since it is for most things on Lioden. Like you would have a 1% chance to gain 1% not all the time, it would be game breaking if it was all the time.

No support.
