What about just having a market for buying and selling from other players, rather than going through the forums? It would be less work for the staff in the long term (in the event that someone didn't hold up their end of the deal, since a scripted market would do everything automatically) and would be easier on the players.

No support. Panna the GB is what funds this site, if anyone could trade silver beetles for gold beetles through the site (and not through other players like it is currently done) then the site would lose its source of funding

No support as well. I'm a site owner myself, and without the donations received everything would have to be out of pocket. And while owners often don't mind taking the fall some months to keep their "baby" going, it often reflects in what they can do with the site in the future.

I understand where everyone is coming from, but I didn't mean as a willy nilly kind of thing, but possibly once a week or once a month sort of deal, you can buy a gold beetle with silver beetles, that way the game still gets donations but other players can save their gold beetles. I personally wont pay out of my pocket for a game, it doesnt make sense for me, but I do understand that some people do this. I was simply suggesting a way that other players who may be kids could find a way to get a gold beetle every so often to work to get a custom lion of their own, It was just a thought. xD but thank you everyone for you're opinions!

Except that there won't be kids playing. The minimum age is 16, by which point most people have their own income. So that point is moot.
As a site owner, I can tell you that the majority of people underestimate how much it costs to run a site. It can cost hundreds of dollars per month to just keep basic things going, such as hosting.
If users were able to buy GB once per week, or even once per month, that would decrease the amount of money the site was generating by a huge amount. The reason they are only available for USD is because most sites barely make enough to continue running. Reducing this amount may result in the site closing down.

For that reason, I can't support this idea at all.

Gold Beetles and any other site with out of pocket currency does so in order to pay for expenses. If you could convert SB in to GB even every so often devalues the worth of Gold beetles and also customs as well.

Since most cash items range from 2-3 and custom females 5 you could wait a few weeks (if once weeks) and in a month or so have a custom lioness. Once a month you can buy a Sex Changer and in two a Zebra Heart. It could potentially be game breaking with people buying hearts and cub delivery items. people will also buy and sell these items which will mean a lot more users will have the items to use. The cost of sudding and selling lions will go down. That means if we have custom males sudding they can have them having 1-10 cub every day. I could send five of my lionesses to "Conroy" instant cub them and have all have cubs and sent back to me. He can them take five more lionesses and so on. It would bring down the value of customs since one white lion could have 50 white cubs making them as common as a golden lioness.

It looks good on paper but in real execution it could have a negitive butterfly effect.

What about the market idea that I posted in this thread earlier? It would just make it easier for the players to trade with each other rather than introducing new, unbacked gold beetles into the economy...

To all the people who keep saying that the minimum age is sixteen for this game site; people can lie about their age while signing up for the game just because they want to play it really bad, so if you think that most people already get income there are probably more young adolescents on this site than you think, also people have much better things to do with their money, like pay for gas, their car, possibly groceries and their apartment, save for something of use rather than just supporting an online RP game where you can play as an animal. I support this because people who "have the ability" to buy GB are not spending money wisely and probably will take the fall for it in the future
