So I was just staring at one of my lionesses with her cubs and wondered hey what if whenever a lioness gives birth you get a placenta and (gross) if a lion or lioness eats it they get exp (uncommon or it takes away hunger?. It is gross but think about it real lions do it. :3 Now so I have seen so many GREAT ideas and I want to thank everyone who has given me them. Here are a few ideas that I loved. Chance of nothing Sangre-Can cause hunt to fail completely (More common) Kuri-Hunger (maybe 5+? Still deciding) Expires (24 hours) Lots of people-After effect (Sickness, not able to hunt and adds a extra day on breeding cooldown?) lots of people-Event item? (Still deciding, but if it was maybe in february?) Female only eats it Lots of people-Non tradable (Deciding) Mutation increase? More cubs? (Deciding) |

This is an interesting idea, I support. It could be similar to Egg Yolk and give a stat boost, it could also be only able to be consumed by the lioness that gave birth so you wouldn't get someone's king eating say 10 or more placentas in a day for those with very large prides. ![]() |

Sphinx I was just saying you kept ranting about how this is a bad idea. Maybe you should go sharpen your claws then come back. :3 Thank you for supporting winter and everyone else! ![]() |

I didn't rant. I offered some facts and asked for reasons why it should include stats or experience. I wasn't really given any that make sense. And really, Alikacc? Good grief. No support. It's a silly idea and we don't need more food. *shakes head* ![]() |

I agree with Sphinx, Its not needed and is kinda out of the question... I mean, having afterbirth on the game is a bit overboard, and yes cats do that often, it's not really needed though. ![]() |

Cows eat these if you give them the chance to. You need to take them out of the stalls. Off the point. I support the idea of only the female eating it for even just 20-50 xp bonus for them. If it ended up lions could eat it then less support there:/ ![]() |

I kind of love this idea lol I UNDERSTAND the idea of the experience/stat gain from the placenta, relating it to real life nutrients. It is a cool idea lol. The problem is that similar items like the egg yolk are rare. A placenta would come after every birth, making it ENTIRELY too common. And it isn't like there can be placentas only passed "sometimes" because every mother has it. Because of the fact that people could just mass breed to get placentas to up experience and stats, no support from me. ![]() |

Well that's when I say that sometimes (most likely) the placenta does nothing. Maybe gives you a bit of food but nothing much. It will make mass breeding but you have a low chance of getting a prize from it. There is a price of sickness causing the female to be unable to breed one extra day and make it so it can't hunt for two days because of sickness. Placenta causes constipation and sickness. Maybe ever now and then you get two placentas? Yet that would be rare to. ![]() |

No support. Food isn't hard to come by, and we have enough experience items as it is. This would just decrease the value of those already in the game. ![]() |

Not to mention, a 'free egg yolk' is a really bad idea for both the economy and stat market. It'd encourage ovebreeding as well as a myriad of other issues. ![]() |

No support for the reasons already listed - whether it does so "occasionally" still doesn't sit well with me. We have items that already ensure the gains of stats or experience, I don't see the need for another. If it does so sometimes, then its not really needed and what have you. I'd assume only the lioness who gave birth would be able to eat it because if you gave it to any other lioness, it'd just make no sense. Anyways, while it is a good idea, I'd pass. This could be a good Valentine's Event item though if anything. ![]() |

Guys, she didn't say it gave hunger she said it took AWAY hunger and it had a low chance of XP. But then again it's rather disgusting so no support from me :P ![]() Edited on 02/01/15 by Altair The Boopy Nose. (#19358) |
