So I was just staring at one of my lionesses with her cubs and wondered hey what if whenever a lioness gives birth you get a placenta and (gross) if a lion or lioness eats it they get exp (uncommon or it takes away hunger?. It is gross but think about it real lions do it. :3 Now so I have seen so many GREAT ideas and I want to thank everyone who has given me them. Here are a few ideas that I loved. Chance of nothing Sangre-Can cause hunt to fail completely (More common) Kuri-Hunger (maybe 5+? Still deciding) Expires (24 hours) Lots of people-After effect (Sickness, not able to hunt and adds a extra day on breeding cooldown?) lots of people-Event item? (Still deciding, but if it was maybe in february?) Female only eats it Lots of people-Non tradable (Deciding) Mutation increase? More cubs? (Deciding) |

Okay any ideas that could make this idea better? (Don't be rude or suggest not doing it.) Perhaps that a female can only have one placenta in its life? It would decrees over breeding? ![]() |

No support. Totally unneeded and bloody disgusting idea. We have a bunch of food-- seriously, we have a huge variety. It isn't a needed feature.. plus.. seriously.. gross. ![]() |

I honestly don't see how it's any more disgusting than our lions eating another animal's balls tbh. >> Might make a good item for the Ambrosia event with some tweaks. ![]() Edited on 02/01/15 by Mid [V.V] (#8680) |

I agree also that we have a ton of food already so maybe it wouldn't be classified as food and wouldn't take hunger. It is small anyways so how about not food just a chance of it either doing nothing or perhaps give them exp or stat boost as a rare possibility? ![]() |

Perhaps it can be something like the Shamanic stew and give a stat boost to the next litter (say 5%)? In order to prevent it being abuse maybe have it be a random and rare occurrence once cubs are born and can only be used on the lioness that gave it? It could be non trade-able as well so no hoarding them on other accounts. Or perhaps it can raise fertility temporarily about 5%? Wouldn't make sense since we have the herbs to do that though. Just spit-balling here ideas here. (I just think it's silly to not support something because it's gross when he just had an event almost completely centered around poo and there are also buffalo scrotums too. LOL) ![]() Edited on 02/01/15 by Mid [V.V] (#8680) |

Ya that seems pretty good so now let's say that's what it is now not food :3 I really like the idea of it being like stew or a stat booster. Also making it non trade able would be reasonable. Perhaps it expires after a day because it is placenta is gets dry and smelly. ![]() Edited on 02/01/15 by Alikacc (#45894) |

I've thrown a suggestion already, but here is another. Maybe it could be a February specific event? I'm not sure how exactly it would tie in, but I think that would be a good place to put it. ![]() |

Ya the only problem is no matter what a female has a placenta how about on February there is a higher chance of getting skill or exp? ![]() |

I was scrolling through all of the comments, and I kept shaking my head whenever someone said that eating a placenta was gross. Animals do it all the time in nature. Maybe it will seem strange to you because it's not the norm for us, but as stated already, animals and some cultures do eat their placentas. It's not 'gross'. It's been done for centuries on end. Some people eat brains for nutrients as well, from people living in modern times to tribes who still hunt and gather their own food, because they don't see any need to waste. Is that 'gross' to you? In my opinion, you remind me of people who make fun of others with foreign accents, because it's basically the same thing. They're different, right? They must not be as intelligent because they don't speak English as well, or that they come from another country. "Ew, you eat your placenta? You're gross." "My people do it all the time.. It's normal, and not gross to me." "You can't speak English in America? You're dumb." *Curses you out fluently in a foreign language.* You should be more open-minded about these things. Stop being a child and get over it. Smh. With that aside, I can't support. Yes, it's more realistic. But honestly, do we really need every single realistic thing that lions do on Lioden? We can stand to leave some out. We have so many options and ways to play this game as is, and non realistic as well. Trading Centers? Currency? Talking animals? I understand that these are here because we're humans playing an online simulation game. It's always nice to add new aspects, but sometimes we just need to take a step back. Plus, I'm pretty sure eating food already does that. There's always small chance for a stat increase when feeding your pride. Experience? We got planes and such for that. Don't really need much else. ![]() |
