As for not supporting, sorry. It's an interesting idea, though. Perhaps if given a different benefit other than stats/exp, I may support.

Perhaps, maybe not during the February event, but another, eating the placenta may fill up an additional bar? Kind of like a thirst bar during the drought event.

Not entirely sure how this can exactly be implemented, but we'll just have to wait and see.

I think this would be an interesting item for the drought event, but I don't think the game needs more ways to get exp/stats. It would be interesting as a normal food item, but too common... You say it comes as "uncommon" or something, but I'm pretty sure that in real life, every female who gives birth leaves a placenta around there. Making it uncommon makes no sense, but making it common gives a free food item. When people mass-breed, this becomes a problem.

Overall, no support.

Hmmm... Lots of interesting comments here. I`m not supporting (yet) as I am unsure about wether to support or not x)

I do have some suggestion though. (I might say the same things as someone has suggested already, but plkease don`t be mad for it. It`s just to summon up and/or have it all in one place.)

1. Use in an event.

2. Might boost OR lower your lioness`fertility (until next breeding). You won`t know what it does, so it`s a risk game. If you want higher fertility, you RISK to get lower. And the same as if you want lower fertility.

3. Boost lioness successrate of hunting for 1 hunt. Although it MIGHT end up making her sick, so she won`t be able to join the next hunt. This will happen a bit rarer than boosted successrate.)

4. Shorten the cooldown by 1 day with a chance of lenghtening it by 1 day.


This is something suggested right now, so it`s definitely some holes, but at least you get the idea ^^/

2. That's a pretty good idea. What happens when you use it on a lioness with 1% fertility though?
3. I like this idea the most. Maybe she brings back something tasty, but maybe she's excluded from the hunt.

Small suggestion:
Maybe she could be excluded after you sent your other lioness with her? So that only 4, in stead of 5 of them are hunting? That way you can't just swap to another high-stat one.
Not sure what would happen if you only had one though. >w< I guess the hunt gets canceled?

4. I might be the minority here, but I don't pay much mind to the cooldown. It wouldn't encourage/bother me int he least. I'd be more likely to sell it off. ^^; Don't know if others are like me though.

Just because someone disagrees with something they're automatically racist/xenophobic or something? o_o okay.

Aside from that, I can't support this. You could literally just catch ncls and mass-breed them while keeping them at maximum hunger (before they threaten to leave) with some small, cheap carcasses and then just mass sell placentas while other people reap the benefits and you get tons of SB.

There's a reason that thing that give boosts are uncommon and/or expensive - because making it common means a huge spike in stats for those who can buy SB (via turning GB into SB) in mass quantities and work on their lions that way.

Just let your king get lots of hunger and fill the bar back up with placentas.

Unless the chance was extremely low like with food, I couldn't support it. Even then I couldn't support it because free food... unless it had an expiration length of like, a day. No support.

On that note, I really like the last bit of your post. o.o An expiration date of a single day would be nice if an item like this ever gets placed in... I don't think these tend to last very long before they begin rotting.

Idea 2- Then it will either stay at 1% (if it was supposed to lower the fertility) or go down to "infertile". I think it works bacause (after my udnersanding of it) you can buy herbs to gain the fertility again.

Idea 3- Yeah, that could be an alternative (up to staff). If you only have 1 lioness then there`s a longer hunting cooldown or something?

Idea 4- I`m unsure about it being clever to be a sell-able item. Then rich players would buy tons of it and maybe not have a cooldown on a lioness for more than a day o.O Even though it`s a risk of lenghtening the cooldown, some players can afford that o.O So another thing up to the staff :P

@ Alrewolf, Disagreeing with what? That eating a placenta is normal with people and animals? They weren't saying, "Oh, I prefer not to eat placentas, but that's just me," in context, but rather, "Ew, that's gross and disgusting. I understand animals do that, but that's just sick."

@ Alikacc, may I suggest that you could add to your post different ideas suggested by other users and yourself? I see other users do this. It often helps to have different ideas on the post so that people reflect about it more, and it might give people more ideas to development, and it shows that it has variable possibilites so that people won`t "throw away" the idea before concidering the possibilities :)

The accent thing would be xenophobia, which many people link to racism.

However, there are many things that one culture finds disgusting another might not. Eating cows, tattoos, etc.

Doesn't mean that the opposite culture's view is wrong. It just means it's opposite. c:

Meanwhile, on topic, if it was just a food item with a 1 day expiration rate and couldn't be sold, with no extra benefits, I don't see why not.

I just wish that people would be more open-minded about things like this... sorry if I seemed aggressive in any way. I want to support people who think like how their culture raised them, yet at the same time I want them to think outside the box. Is that weird? :S

I think that's a great idea! But the placenta should only be used for the lioness it came from, so that even if you can't sell it, you can't stack it all on one lioness either.

Edit: That is, if it's not going to be an event item. Many roads you can take with this idea. :p

All of these are great ideas we need to get a few more once we hit 100 we will find the ones we like the most and I will edit my first topic post on placenta and once we hit 200 we gather up ideas. Sounds good to me anyone else? Also we should make it not able to be tradable or sellable
