After many months of playing I am rather shocked that there is no item encyclopedia for the game... I mean one that is Liodens on the site here.

It would greatly help the new population that have not been around for previously released items on the site. Most of them do not have hover text so since this game is in beta do one of 2 things.

1: Enable hover text everywhere so you get the description of items

2: Make a complete item encyclopedia with a complete description on what the item is, what it does, what event it came from and when it was released onto the site.


A way to implement this is to have a few players selected by staff to create a thread. Then they begin to develop this encyclopedia ..players can add helpful posts etc or items they missed. Then when the thread is complete staff can take it and put it into a page of its very own and update it with each new item created. Or option two.. have a permanent link to the thread on the main bars. Small little link that simply states Item Encyclopedia.


An example of the format

Buffalo Scrotum: Guarantees at least 3 cubs in the next breeding. Eaten by a male.

Event or date this item was introduced: Since I came on after this item was implemented I do not know the exact event or date. (hence why this is important to the site and players)

Last 5 Branch sales: 35 GB on 1/12/2015
40 GB on 1/15/2015
42 GB on 1/19/2015
40 GB on 1/23/2015
45 GB on 1/29/2015

I think either of these options would greatly help everyone. You can also expand this encyclopedia to include events important Lioden dates and much more.

Keep in mind as well that this will help fuel the market and economy in some ways.


If you wish to add to this idea or have critisism pls feel free to post. This idea would not be hard to implement nor would it negatively affect gameplay to anyone.

Me personally, I'd like to see something like this:

Obtained By: Playing the Whack-A-Snake game daily.

For special items, such as a event items, under Obtained it could say "Available from event shops during this event each year" or something like that.

The percentages are for food/toy items. Such as "restores 5% mood" or "removes up to 60% hunger".
