I suggest that we can get a lioness fat by over-eating. If you send a lioness that is fat on a hunt, there would be less chance of having a successful one because she is out of shape. Same goes for a overly-thin lioness. Their pictures could change so you could see ribs or chubby-ness.

To help clarify/suggestions by other players:

- Maybe the Hunger bar could go up to 120%. And the item "Feed All Play All" would only feed up to 100% so you don't get fat lionesses with that item. You can also control how much you feed because there is small carcasses too. (meerkat, rat...)

Gaining weight

- I think that they should get fat by getting fed more than they're hungry for. Like if she's at hunger 90% and you feed her a carcass that fills 30%, than she'd gain a little weight.

- If you feed your lionesses that will fill them more than 100%, There would be a Pop-up message saying something like: " This lioness isn't quite hungry enough to eat all this food. Will you 'Stuff her Face' or 'Give a portion' or 'Cancel' If you choose 'Stuff Her Face', She'd obviously gain weight. If you choose 'Give a Portion', then it would feed her to 100% then you'd get, for example, a Bushbuck leg in return. (that's if you fed a bushbuck. i know its not an actual item, but it can be added. OR it could be a gerbil, or any other small carcass)

~Underweight lions could be fit again by having over 50% hunger for 3 days?

Losing weight

- Any lioness with Hunger lower than 50% for 3 consecutive days would look thin. Maybe they would have a lower chance of having a successful hunt because she is weak?

~ Overweighted lions would be able to get fit by going hunting at least once for maybe 3 days?

Any support? suggestions?

Sorry, no support. This idea, in my opinion, is a bit useless and would require quite a bit of coding. Besides, not many people count out the % of the food so they know what to feed to each lioness. I, personally, feed every lioness usually 10-20% extra to keep them at 100%, simply because I find counting out what to feed who tedious. This would make the feeding process more tedious in my opinion.

What is the point of this..?

>.> Sorry but it would be massive work in terms of game artwork.

What would be the point of having a lioness overly full? If anything it would not be a good thing.
(realistically speaking, the lioness would throw up all the food from over eating and then what, you'd basically start from square one and have to feed her again).

This isn't a necessary feature and doesn't add anything major or drastic to the game other than huge changes to game art that aren't really needed.

Sorry :<

No support for reasons stated. Too much work for a massive inconvenience for people with established playstyles. People shouldn't be penalized for feeding schedules, especially considering the feed all play all tool could easily 'overfeed' a lion.

This^^

I don't like having them have empty bellies, so I feed them every day. It's my routine. It's actually oddly important to me. ((I do have severe anxiety so that might be why it's so important but I honestly don't know if it's that or me being weird.)) With as derpy as I am anymore they'd NEVER not be fat...o.0

Also with stuff like the pit, you're FORCED to as you call it overfeed them as I'm pretty sure they leave at 80%.

I agree Chaos. Feeding my ladies everyday helps me check on stat status and helps me keep their mood in check, otherwise I'd forget entirely >_>

No support; it would wreck my playstyle.

I feed (and play with) my pride every day to ensure they are 0% hungry and 100% happy. Often, I use large carcasses because it is much easier to feed multiple lionesses with one carcass rather than several Dik Dik's or Warthogs.

I am already giving myself a slight disadvantage by doing so:
1. I get less profit, since instead of waiting until my lionesses are a 60% hunger and using Zebras, I am using Zebras and wasting 40% each time. Those uses add up, and I have less food to sell to other players or the monkey.

2. If I use a large carcass rather than a small one, I am losing out on potential extra stat points. If your pride eats nothing but Gerbils, that's four chances of a stat each day.

Adding this suggestion, if I continued with my current playstyle, it is very likely that I wouldn't have enough carcasses to maintain it, let alone sell, especially on days I can't be on for as long. It would be overkill.

In order to maintain my playstyle without overfeeding, I would have to feed my lionesses Dik Diks, Gerbils, Rats and other small carcasses. Looking at my hoard right now, having 9 days of food built up, I think I barely have one day of those built up, let alone the 9 they would have to last me for! It would be unsustainable unless I either started neglecting my lionesses or buying small carcasses from other people/the monkey shop. That isn't fair to me, since I'm pretty self-sustaining at the moment.

And sure - simple solution: neglect those lionesses. But that goes against what the game encourages you to do. It tells you that if you neglect your lionesses they'll give stillborn cubs (I know it isn't common, but it says it can happen). It says "your lionesses might leave" if you neglect them for two consecutive days.

Punishing you for feeding them every day is counterintuitive, and feeding them small carcasses every day is unsustainable. This suggestion would not work with the game as it currently stands.

Maybe once you go to feed it a carcass that will fill up more that 100%, there would be a pop-up message saying " This lioness isn't quit hungry enough to eat this carcass. Will you 'Stuff her face' or 'Give smaller carcass' ? "

Maybe it could be an optional feature?

It seems unnecessary and useless, as sated by many others. Sorry, but no support.

No support, it would be to hard on the creators to create all the codes and items needed for this.

Yeah, no support, for reasons already stated. As a wannabe artist myself, I know how difficult and time consuming it would be to do something like this. And the feature itself just seems so useless, so the artists would be doing all that work for nothing. As also already stated, I feed my girls every day, and it would be excruciatingly tedious to try and only find 20% carcasses for them to feed on. :/

You could break up the carcasses so that they'd only feed 20% (as stated in the opening post), but that would be more tedious coding and work for the artists...

I really don't see the point, sorry

Edit: I mean, aesthetically it could be nice I suppose. But it'd take a long time for the artists. And overfed lionesses not being able to hunt as well kinda sucks, especially since it means you're just taking care of your pride well

No support.

Edit: It's mostly an aesthetic thing and pretty useless, plus you'll be punishing the lions for being fat - they can't hunt - as if being fat is a bad thing too, which it's really not.

Edit edit: I do like the idea of having more diverse bodyshapes, though, but the art is unnecessary so unlikely to happen and the punishment is ridiculous lol

Fat healthy lions produce more/better cubs than normal or underfed ones perhaps? But they still don't hunt well.

She's not saying that if they are overweight that they CAN'T hunt, she's saying there'd be a SLIGHTLY LESS CHANCE of having a successful hunt because they are out of shape.
