So many accounts and lions are just discarded when people get bored, ive even wanted to deactivate my second account, so I dont understand why its not a feature in the game! it could be a password protected action that you can use at anytime and 'boop' account deactivated! Suggested by Kraft- Deactivated meaning deleted forever? I'd be keen for that because it could stop accidental trades to inactive accounts, and possible clear out server space. As well as a password conformation there should be a 7 day period after you've clicked deactivate where you can cancel the process, like deviantart, in case you change your mind. Suggested by Mad Hyena- Delete account is a useful feature, but as Axel said, it can be abused - so Id say, limit it to only being able to be deactivated after, say, a week from being created? Try out the game first kind of stuff. |

I understand that life happens but please keep in mind that this is a post, and this is simply a game. If you have done/ gone through what you said you have then please bear in mind that perhaps more help may be needed. Because like you I suffer from anxiety and have suffered from depression in the past. And I am currently seeing help and even knowing what depression and anxiety is like I stillstand by what I say. Being depressed has its complications but that doesn't stop you from making your own choices even when it comes to something as simple as a web browser game. Also if you read through the comments there are ideas about time limitations and being able to log back on to save your account from being compelely deleted. ![]() |

So what if people delete and keep rolling till they get what they want? Rolled males aren't desirable anyway so it's not like they'd get any advantage over us who were stuck with their rolls. I don't get why a newbie being happy with their rolled lion is a bad thing... are they not allowed to be happy with their rolls? Before anyone even says it "We only got 5 rolls and were stuck with what we got so they should too" is actually kind of messed up logic. That'd be like players from the alpha stage of the game going "Well we only had NCL bases and no trade center so all the beta players can just suck it up and pick a gold lion and earn their beetles like we had to!" Things change and LD is in beta still. If the developers thought with that logic we wouldn't have half the stuff we do. Let the newbies roll till their hearts content. ![]() Edited on 30/01/15 by Mid [V.V] (#8680) |

I'm all for deactivation of an account but not deleting without the user knowing.. I have paid quite a pretty penny into this game for both my accounts and I would be extremely upset if my accounts were deleted. I've taken a year long break on here before and came back this October due to college/life/etc.. I was very happy to still have my account. There is no reason ever to delete a paying users account without warning them. People who have supported this game should not be penalized for taking a break. ![]() Edited on 30/01/15 by CookieMonster (#8572) |

There would be notifications. The sites that I am on that do this always send notifications. That isn't something that's going to be done without any notice. ![]() |

This should definitely be a player-induced only option unless the account has been inactive for say five years or more? Sounds absurd but that's a goodly length of time to ensure the user is not coming back. That said, being able to deactivate your account should definitely be an option. Hopefully deactivating / deleting an account will mean the trades that user created will go away too (no more 'expires in 1 day' trades eh?) ![]() |
