The last thread got accidentally deleted.

As of right now, the game only allows you to send one sub male per cool down. I think it would be much better if we could send our males regardless of the cool down period.

To be a bit more clear: the cool down period stays because it's actually very realistic, but it only applies to the male you sent. Not all of them. Meaning, if you have a male on cool down, you are still able to send another one. Now, I'd say that you can only send two males at the same time and then wait about 30 minutes to send another pair, and while your new pair is out, the one that returned is in a cooldown. That way, the abuse of this feature (e.g. sending 4-5 males at the same time, like the hunting feature) can be prevented.

*Comments:

~ Winchester: I suggest upping the patrolling time to 30min, that way only 2 subs can be patrolled in an hour time frame, not 4.

~Axel: I would love to see the cooldown for submales reduced to 30 mins as well, so we can choose to either send 2 submales in 1 hour, or 1 submale two times in an hour.

~Authoria: Also It would be nice that once a sub male finished patrolling. That Instead of giving you just what the male found, but also be able to send him back out on the same page. And not have to refresh.

I do not support, for the reasons mentioned by Axel. The ability to train two males at once, when only one can become king, will result in a surplus of sub males with high stats. This in turn will cause an influx of high-stat males with owners desperate to sell them on, driving down the value to stats and damaging the economy.

No support, this would create a large excess of high stat subs, and would completely crash an already lackluster market. It would devalue hard work; why bother patrolling for yourself when you can buy one already patrolled for very little compared to the effort it would take?

No support for the reasons stated by Raamiah and Locust. Changing patrolling in this way will only damage the market, and honestly I think patrolling is fine as it is right now. I see no reason to change it, and I think changing it to this would mess up the game.

I agree the cool down should effect the sub male you sent on patrol. I agree the cool down time should be changed to 30 minutes. I have other sub males that i want to send out but i can't because of the cool down. I like what you are suggesting so i support.

I like the idea of a cooldown. I'm trying to train two males so I can king on this one and my main.

And as for the economy arguments, really? The economy is so screwed by this point almost nothing will fix it. I mean hell, we have a feature that gives away lions at the giving tree for fucks sake.

supporttttt! especially for that shortened cooldown! an hour is way too long. my heir need a couple more training exps to reach 75, so guess who's gonna be staying up for another 4 and a half hours patrolling :'D
Also, I think adol male's training percentage gain shouldn't be 1-2% but 2-3%. it makes it easier for the people who sometimes cant be on every hour.

Definitely supporting! I had a similar idea, but then I found your thread. Here are my thoughts:

"I think a good feature adjustment on Lioden would be to have the ability to patrol multiple sub males during an hour, while still maintaining the integrity of the one hour cooldown period. How this would work is that rather than having patrolling as a whole have a one hour cooldown, each sub male gets its own one hour cooldown. Patrolling would still take 15 minutes, and you couldn't send more than one sub out at a time, but this would allow you to patrol multiple subs at the frequency of one patrol per hour."

EDIT: Several people have mentioned how being able to patrol two subs would mess up the market, but if you're doing your stat replacing timing right, you probably need to patrol two subs at some point anyway, one being the sub who's gonna be your next king in a few years and the other being the young sub who you're getting started to be your next-next king. Normally you would use your second account for this, but imagine not having to do that. You could take care of everything on one account and not have to jump between accounts every hour.

I'm supporting because the biggest benefit in my eyes is that I can then see the point in having more than one submale. Plus, this actually will improve the market for sub males. If more people can train one up to sell, more people will be able to afford to buy one. Not everyone who wants a high stat male has the time to train one up after all, but most people want a male with decent enough stats for battling in explore.
It therefore makes medium statted male cubs more valuable and saleable, whereas now, most of us are struggling to even give them away.

What Astro said. If you're playing for stats then your stat king is only king for 8 years. It takes 12 to 13 years to train a high stat sub male. I would LOVE being able to train both on one account and not HAVING to dedicated both accounts to patrolling for one king.

@ RattleStar, The original idea was just to remove or shorten the account cool down. It wasn't to change the cool down on submales themselves. Honestly, though I play for stats, I don't think one submale needs to go out more than once an hour. Males are able to get ridiculously high enough already. I just want to be able to patrol two submales on one account without halving the amount of stats they gain. Keeping the one hour cool down on submales would not change their current stat gain, but removing or halving the account cool down would allow one to train two heirs which a number of people would like.

I also like the idea of changing it to a 30 minutes thing.

So we can do patrolling twice in 1 hour.

But I don't think we should be able to send more then 1 at a time.
It can drastically change the stats, make stat monsters to easy to get, which lioden wants to try to avoid getting to many of.

So, in simple terms just adjust the cool down time to 30 minutes :) (still would have effect on stats but not as bad)

Honestly it both effects stats :/

But I just read above comments of what the original idea was.

Which was to send 2 at a time but still have same cool down and everything. Which I guess would be the better of the two options now that I actually think about it ^^

But it just leads to more stat monsters either way.. not higher stat monsters but more of them lol.
