I would expect that they are mated. Even in a captive situation the wolves would go to their natural instinct and have a slightly modified, if not complete pack role system where the alpha pair is mated.

Edit- I think it would be fun to have them mated, you know, for some drama. The female who seems uninterested in males and the dark, gloomy male.

History: Screech was born into an abusive situation, his mother and littermates were constantly beaten, he was mostly hit in the throat. Once he was 5 months old he and his pack were taken away and transferred to different wolf sanctuaries.

A Coffee colored she wolf, she has tan eye spots and white splashed paws with a white tail tip. she has Hetrochromia, Her left ( < ) eye is Red and her Right ( > ) Eye is blue.

She is roughly 3 feet tall, 1/2 feet larger than the average Timber Wolf (Gray Wolf). Her length is 6 feet across from her Nose tip to her tail tip. She ways 70 Pounds, 10 Pounds more than the average Female Timber Wolf.

Personality/History:

She is a caring, strong wolf. She hates to fight and she gets edgy at the sight of blood. She usually keeps her emotions locked up deep inside. Only when she is very afraid or concerned for one of her Pack members she shows her emotion. Once or twice you may see her hurt flash in her eyes if she is in pain. Even if she is strong, shes weak inside, she has been through so much growing from a pup to a Wolf in a cruel Zoo. She was sentenced to die but she bit the zoo keeper that was handling her and ran into the sanctuary, she has trust issues.
