No support. I don't want this to come across as harsh, but I'll be direct nonetheless because I can foresee this being another 'good idea in theory but doesn't get used in practice' addition.

Help channel was added and questions sit there all the time with zero answers. I myself often resort to main chat or just ticketing questions directly because of how unhelpful the channel proved to be, and I see others doing this as well.

In my opinion, adding channels for something that can be accomplished in main that can be easily ignored just directs coders into more unnecessary work that takes time away from quality of life improvements that Lioden has desperately been needed for years; things like multi-nest crafting, branch listing spam, transfering monkey teeth to linked accounts, and being able to mass-kill/chase/reserve lions in unsorted.

tl;dr - There's just more pressing things that need to be coded and this can easily be ignored in main chatter.

bringing this topic back from the dead. i'm a pretty regular chatter in the help channel, and it's super annoying to see the channel get flooded with price check requests. nobody ever replies to them, but theyre posted at such a frequency that it clogs up the channel. i dont mind if theyre posted in main chat, because main chat moves so quickly that practically nobody ever sees their message.

and to the point of "there is a price check forum post", there is also an art sales forum post *and* an art sales chat room. we've been getting a lot of QOL improvements, like some of the ones mentioned in this post by #108458, such as mass nest crafting and transferring monkey teeth to linked accounts.

I know coding things takes time and there is an entire recode in progress. I dont expect something like this to be an immediate change, if it is even picked up at all. I just want it to be known that i believe that this is an issue that needs addressing at some point.

The help chat ought to be for people asking questions about the games mechanics and acronyms and such. something like a price check is entirely subjective.

in short, i'd just be a lot damn happier if all the price check requests got redirected to a different channel from the help chat. i'd be even happier if they just straight up weren't allowed in the help chat, fullstop.

Thanks for necroing this to update. We did indeed get those updates! A ton of QoL actually! I'm more in favor of adding this now than I was a year ago. :D
