The idea in itself is very simple: Could we have the option to buy 1 golden beetle at a time from the Oasis?

It would cost double or more than what it would cost to buy beetles in a pack (as of now, $5USD gets you 10 golden beetles, that's 0.50USD per beetle), so each individual beetle would cost $1USD (or more).

The reasons I think this would be useful:

1. It's easier to donate one dollar or two dollars than it is five dollars. Thus, easier access to golden beetles for the teen players. To a parent, the difference between spending $1 on a game and $5 on a game is huge. EDIT: And as Arika said, a big difference to all us poor college students.

2. By doubling the price of a single golden beetle, people are still encouraged to buy the $5+ packs. Not affecting the sale of beetle packs.

3. Impulse buys. Say a player *really* wanted that cub sex changer. It would only be a quick, small purchase to get that. They are then more likely to donate than they would have been before.

Overall I think this would result in more money for the game, access to golden beetles for more players, without dropping the value of beetles (because of the higher price for individual purchases).

Other sim games I play have some sort of individual purchase option, and there has been no effect on the economy. Honestly I was surprised this wasn't already an option in the Oasis.
