For more than 500 years dragons have been plagues. They were hatred and feared. Until one day a small group of friends find a dragon nesting ground. The parents laid dead beside their nests, but only 1 egg of each specie was left in each nest. Only 1 adult dragon remained from this nesting ground, almost dead it pushed it's last egg towards the group. They knew what the dragon was trying to tell them, they were supposed to take care of the remaining eggs. The eggs's species were: Stormcutter [Taken] Rumblehorn [Taken] Flightmare [Taken] Sand wraith [Taken] Raincutter [Taken] Deadly nadder [Taken] Gruff [Taken] Terrible terror [One for each character (Those who want)] They had to struggle by keeping them safe because the dragons grew fast. It wasn't easy.... Rules: -No god modding -Only 1 character and dragon each person -If you have questions ask on the sign up thread -Keep genders even -All lioden rules apply -No character/dragon is perfect -Put "Muffins" in other if you read the rules -You can only play as a viking who owns a dragon -6+ sentences -Feel free to make up something. For example, the dragons are attacking the village or something -Be respectful -No one hit kills -You can only choose a dragon from the "egg species". -Use the the sign up thread for discussing problems, only minimum OOC talk on the roleplay thread. -Every person can only reply after 2-3 others have also replied. -If you haven't been active for more than a week, without notifying me, you will be cut out of the roleplay. Denzel smiled, eyes lighting up again. He nodded at Luna and sprinted away home, smiling like an idiot. He quickly reached home and tackled the door, literally. His mother wasn't home this early, she was busy now. He grabbed all he needed and put it in an empty potato sack, some vegetables and bread plus some extra food, two jackets (one leather and other fur), a scarf, and a bucket. He left a letter for his mom with some paper that he found, saying how the school had organized a road trip to survive the wilderness, and that he'd be back either tomorrow or by nightfall. Proud of his work, he left it on the table and ran back to the boat, climbing on and waving. -So, anybody missed me?- Denzel asked, putting the sack down. -I got some extra food just in case- 0 players like this post! Lacota returned to everyone getting back from their own houses. He felt through his satuel once more to make sure he had everything he needed. "I hope no one minds if I bring a friend." He said handing his cane to Koba who sat wagging his tail. "I have been train in simple healing so please get nothing worse than a bad cut, okay?" But with this group he knew he was asking for a little much. He took out some medicine bottles and felt the carving on them to make sure he had the right ones. Maria went on the boat and rolled her eyes, "I did." She smirked lightly, Denzel seemed pretty funny to her. Maria then looked afar, "What if-if there are such-sea Dragons or whales and such attack?" She wore her buckskin coat, "Oh no I almost forgot!" Maria searched through her bag and found a leather one, "Phew. Just in case the weather gets to hot." Luna grinned and said "No one misses you, Denzel" and laughed a bit. She sat down and looked at the dog, Koba. "Aww, hello there!" She said with a childish voice and cuddled up to Koba as he walked towards her. "And I don't know, maybe there are some water dragons, maybe the bewilderbeast?" She said with a more normal voice and grinned while she thought of what Echo's reaction of what she just said. She watched Kaolin jump onto the boat and when she told her the news she stood up and gasped then asked "What? Where? Is it long from here? Oh my gods I'm so exited!" She said and almost jumped of exitement. The skies were going away, which was good. She walked towards Denzel and asked "Do you think the dragons could really be trainable?" and sat down beside him on a 'bench'. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Denzel giggled from Maria, sending her the 'Oh, you!' look, yet was fake-hurt instantly from Luna. -Oh no, whatever shall I do?- He complained, dramatically, running one hand through his uncombed hair and placing the other one over his heart. It was easy to notice how he looked around the water, though, just in case a Thunderdrum or Scauldron showed up. Once Luna and him both sat down on the bench, though, he was back to normal, thinking hard about the question. -I'd like to say yes, we trained wolves so with some food and patience there might be a chance, but they may be too used to the adults literally punching them and trying, and sometimes succeeding, to murder their friends and family, so you could also lean with no.- Once again, he shrugged, looking at her with a lazy, yet still amused, expression. -What do you think?- 0 players like this post! "Miss! Haha thats a lie" She laugh quietly. She saw Lacota and Koba enter the boat "Aww this cutie is always aloud!" She spoke before bending down to give the Dog a good scratching. Echo rose before giving a nod"Guess there's only one way to find out w-what's In the w-water" she muttered Heading to the edge. Her eyes widden slightly she shiver at the thought of swimming bin the water or anything amongst getting into. Her breathing began to heavy as if her chest had sacks of flour on it. She backed away from the Edge and took deep breaths trying to calm her breathing so she wouldn't have a panic attack in front of her friends. "Well uh? Maria sat down and glanced at Echo, "Oh...Come on, Echo! I bet those kind of dragons are rare to find! Though they are the king of all dragons!" She grinned, "If I trained one, I bet it could beat all of your dragons...at once!" Maria added, "Nothing will defeat The Bewilderbeast!!! But you don't have to worry Echo...everything's fine." She slouched and enjoyed the soft breeze. What if they did find a dragon like that? Or an army of other dragon riders? Is there even such a possibility? Well...the group just needed to be patient and find out. Maria sighed, "Now what? It's boring...Somebody tell a dragon tale perhaps?" Luna looked at Echo and said "I think Kaolin knows where we're going exactly" and pointed at her sister. She then turned her head back to Denzel and thought for a moment if they would be trainable. "Umm, I don't know. I think it depends on how you train it or how you act around it and such things." She said and looked over the edge of the ship. "Don't you think it would be amazing to actually get to ride a dragon?" Luna continued and looked back at Denzel. She found it amusing, talking to Denzel, for an unknown reason. She just thought he was so open minded somehow. She giggled as she heard what Maria and Echo were talking about. "Maybe Denzel or Lacota could tell us a SCARY story?" (It's okay :) They've decided to go check to the nest the vikings had destroyed the same morning, and they're currently on the ship on their way to the island. Neasa | Ship | Open to others The viking wasn't happy with water. She loved the mythology and idea behind water dragons, but she hated the idea of sailing. It was better to fly. Flying was so much easier. As an almost-adult she had to keep herself in a good position of authority, though. She knew the rest of the group could fend for themselves, or at least a few could. She could depend on them to actually look after each other, and themselves. If you couldn't trust anyone, how would you ever relax or learn to loosen up? At least, that's what a few of them had told her. Her brunette hair was pulled into what was obviously a rushed braid that laid flat on her back, she also wore her normal outfit, although she had a fur coat with her this time. It was obviously from the rabbits in the village, the one the skinner raised for cooking, so it kept her plenty warm. The hood and sleeves were lined with wolf fur, from the forest beyond the canyon bridge. 0 players like this post! Like? |

-Yeah, sorry to disappoint, no spooky scary stories from me- Denzel said, a confident air surrounding him. He leaned back and stretched, looking around. The sound of the sea calmed him, even when he knew how cruel and traitorous it could be, become wild and untameable when it felt like it. The darkness of the bottom was easy to discover, yet he did not see anything besides that. Time had probably went faster than usual, he hadn't noticed and was instead distracted by those around him. Denzel was about to answer Luna's other question, but he was captivated by the water, and instead continued to watch the waves, trying to listen to the still ongoing conversation, but it was fading out slowly. 0 players like this post!
