I'm always having trouble defeating most of the larger, more powerful NPC's in explore, so I thought up this suggestion.

When you are in battle with an NPC, there will be an option to call in a lioness from your pride to assist you in battle. Now, the call may not always work since your pride isn't always around. Also, you can have the option to call in your sub male(s). (More sub male uses, yay!) You can call upon one lioness at a time as an action and possibly have a maximum of around 3 lionesses in battle and/or x amount of your sub male(s). If you do get help, the lioness(es)/sub male(s) could lose some hunger/mood as a result. If you win the battle, they lose mood and hunger. If you win the battle, they only lose hunger. During battle, if you call for help, they will each deal x amount of damage to the NPC. If you do decide to call on your fellow pride members, it will act just like an attack in battle, but instead of dealing damage, it will say '_____ joined you in battle!' or something of that sort and the NPC would get a hit at you, just as if one of your attacks missed.

I believe that this might be a bit more realistic. To add to the realism, maybe you could only call upon a sub male to assist you and not your lionesses.
