Misha/ 1 yr. 8 m./ Mudi Dog The female was pleasantly surprised when Aspen wanted to stick with her, then remembered that she hadn't been the one the viscous dog had been after. With a flick of her tail and a disgruntled glance towards the unconscious threat, she sent a smile to the tall, lithe male. "Of course I don't mind. Come on," she told him, turning around. She trotted a few paces, towards the open hallway near the stairs, and then met Aspen's eyes over her shoulder. "This way!" When she felt Aspen was following her, she ran full force down the hallway. The door at the end had a crack of light peeking through at the bottom, but would require a good amount of force to open. With a small leap, the canine hit the metal with all four paws, turning as she hit the surface. When she landed again, the door was swinging open, and the hallway was suddenly illuminated in bright light. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Zara "You had to do what it took to survive" she told him a little forcefully. When he placed the bacon near her sisters head she smiled gratefully. "Thank you for taking care of us" when he mentioned teaching her to hunt she immediately perked up. "Really?! Oh Thank you! Thank you!" She bounced towards him, her tail wagging fiercely. Her tongue hung out the side of her mouth as her head tilted to the side, her ears casually perked forward in excitement. Nyphadora She had been in a fitful sleep. She woke when she felt a large presence next to her head. Her breathing quickened as she awakened, the pain of her wounds dulled to an aching throb that pulsed with her heartbeat. She watched them silently, she found a bag of bacon next to her face and looked at the newcomer. His voice was familiar to her, maybe it was because he had been speaking with her sister for some time. Sadly, it was not a dream. She had been brutally beaten in a fight that had almost costed her life, that had almost caused her to leave her pup sister alone. When she heard the new male and her sister talk about hunting, she grunted "She is but a pup" she looked at Drill. She wanted to still take care of her sister, to let her be a pup just a little while longer. Her eyes were filled with pain and laced with worry, would this stranger stay? He had helped her, and had kept them company, he had spoken with her sister, and is now wanting to teach her...how long would that last? 0 players like this post! Like? |

Aspen Aspen gave a joyful bark and did a little leap before racing after Misha. He paused for a moment by the stairs, turning back to look at Uvvi and the unconscious Lucifer. "Thanks again!" He called to the Dane mix, tail still wagging. "I'm sure you can come with us too if you like!" There would be safety in numbers after all and the larger dog had already saved them once. It might be wise to keep her around. With that said he hurried down the hallway after Misha. He was about to ask her if she needed his help when she forced the door open on her own and they were enveloped by warm light. He gave the smaller dog an admiring glance. She was very strong for her size. Certainly stronger than him. His wiry body would have never had the strength to push the door open on his own. "Where to now?" He asked, perfectly fine with letting Misha take the lead wherever they went. Drill "You're welcome," he replied, a slight smile crossing his own muzzle. "Rule number one, be quiet. The rats already know we are here so we have that against us. We should be as quiet as possible to give them a false sense of security." He stopped talking and turned to look at Nyphadora when she spoke. "Well well, look who's finally awake. Pup or not she needs to learn. She can't rely on you forever," he replied sternly. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Nyphadora "Please...let her be a pup. I may not be around forever but I will be as long as I can" she looked at him. Tired of laying down and looking weak she tried to get up, after ripping the cobwebs and ripping her wounds just a little. She was on her feet, she was a tall Doberman with her straight cropped ears was pointed towards him, her stance was wide and a little shaky. She had a wide chest like most European Dobermans, her brown and tan markings could barely be seen through her own and other dogs blood. She looked down towards the bacon and looked at Drill: "Who found these?" She asked. When she had her sisters excited answer she nodded proudly. "Very good Zara" she looked at Drill again "I'm Nyphadora, and you are?" Zara She looked at Drill and quieted down like he instructed, when she saw his smile, her own grew huge. She listened to him as he spoke. When she heard her sister getting up she bounced in excitement. She watched as the dog who had protected her with her life finally stood up and looked every bit as intimidating as she once was, but more because of the blood. Her hopes of hunting were shut down as she heard her sister, her ears fell as she listened to her sister call her a pup. But when Drill said that she needed to learn, she hastily agreed. When Ny asked about the bacon she piped up excitedly: "I did! I found it" she smiled, hoping I prove that she wasn't useless. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Uvvi looked down at the unconscious dog and shivers. Crouching she follows them quickly. "You know I know a place not to far from here! Its got a nice field full of rabbits! Its where i have set up my den!" She wagged her tail thumping it on the ground loudly "My name is Uvvi bye the way! You can call me Vee!" She spoke quickly excited to have someone to talk to! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Misha/ 1 yr. 8 m./ Mudi Dog With her ears folded back, waiting by the door, the female caught some of the words Aspen threw towards the other dog. For some reason, Misha was delighted when she saw it was just her prior companion; maybe it was because she trusted him, and no other. After all, while the other dog had saved them, she might just be after them for her own gains. Bounding slowly out of the doorway, she stepped out onto the street and glanced around, making sure they were safe. When she saw nothing, she turned and grinned at him, her tail wagging. That look quickly faded when she saw the female and heard her explanation. "Pleasure to meet you, Vee," she replied to the female, her head lowering. "Name's Misha." The dog turned in a nervous circle, her ears perking and lowering on her head repeatedly as she glanced around. When she heard about the dog's "den", she cocked her head to the side and glanced the dog up and down. Yeah, she could probably catch rabbits just fine. "I don't really..." she glanced at Aspen. "Can you hunt rabbits?" she asked him. 'Cause I can't... she thought dejectedly. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 21/06/15 by West (#43497) |

Aspen Aspen hopped out to stand beside her, seeming oblivious to Misha's mistrust of Uvvi. In retrospect, it would have been wiser to speak with his companion about letting the other dog tag along, but Aspen didn't always think first before opening his mouth. The comment about rabbits had him running an excited circle around the two females. "Yes! When I was at the race track I chased rabbits all the time!" He said, finally coming to a stop back next to Misha. "...I never did catch any though," he admitted. "I've only ever caught rats so far." Drill "What would have happened if you died today and I wasn't around?" Drill challenged, unsettled by Nyphadora's need to keep Zara stuck in puppy mode. "Your sister would have been left to survive on her own without any skills at all!" He scowled at the older dog, his argument briefly interrupted by her asking about the bacon and Zara's enthusiastic response. "You are doing Zara a disservice by keeping her from learning," he added critically before sitting down again. "...I'm Drill." 0 players like this post! Like? |

Nyphadora Her lips curled back into a fearsome snarl "I suggest you watch your tone with me Drill. I may be injured but I can still bite" she snapped her jaws shut her fangs pure white and glistening, they made a sharp snap. "I merely want to keep her in her puppy years because she is the only light I have left! If it wern't for her I would have died a long time ago!" She snarled, her pain momentarily forgotten as she straightened up in her anger. "Teach her if you will, but I will not condone anything bloody or so help me lord I will leave you for the rats" she shook her head at herself. She knew she was being unreasonable and that she should be greatful that he came, but she was very temperamental. She looked at her sisters pleading eyes and worried face and silenced herself. She stared at her sister for a long while before she looked back to Drill: "I apologize for nothing, but I Thank you for my own and my sisters life. For that you have my respect" she nodded to him. He hit her hard in the face with his words. And if her sister wanted to learn, who was she to stop her? She grunted as she lowered herself to the couch cushion once more, she laid her head on her paws, her claws long and very sharp with traces of blood and hunts of fur inbetween them. She closed her eyes. "It is nice to meet you Drill" she silently chuckled. Zara She started to cower when Drill challenged her sister. That would never end well. When she heard her sisters angry, intimidating tone she had fully cowered. Not knowing what to say and not wanting to come between two adults who could surely tear her apart, she stayed silent until her sister looked at her. She stared back, her wanted to learn so bad, she wanted tone useful. To not be a useless pup anymore. When we sister settled down, she saw a flash of regret in her sisters eyes when she looked away from her. She was completely taken by surprise by her sisters change in mood and gratitude. She looked at Drill to see his reactions. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Saorise | Current Location: Alley The female quickened her pace as she moved further into the city, melting into the shadows of an alley way. Her ears wavered warily as she did so, feeling distinctly unsafe in such a location. Ignoring that for now, she concentrated on the scents around her, moving toward the nearby dumpster. No doubt any food located around here was well picked over, but there was no harm if having a quick poke around. Drill Drill growled and got back to his paws, the fur along his spine bristling in response to Nyphadora's aggression. "Maybe it's you who should watch what you say! I've ripped dog's throats open for less!" He snarled back. "Why do you assume I'm teaching her anything 'bloody'? I was going to teach her how to catch rats for goodness sake. RATS. You know, for food? Is that too bloody for you then? Shall we spare the vermin and starve instead?" He spat bitterly. He was caught off guard when she suddenly fell silent for a long while, looking at her sister and then...thanked him? Anger still coursed through him even when the other dog settled down again and he longed to lunge at her even now, but his eyes flashed to Zara watching him and he snorted instead. "Yeah whatever," he grunted before stalking towards the front door. He needed to remove himself from the situation in order to calm down. He didn't want to be the kind of dog who always jumped to violence to win a fight anymore, but a change like that would not happen over night or without great effort. ((Last reply for the night. Untill tomorrow then!)) 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 21/06/15 by Topaz (Side) (#33365) |

Cayenne Cayenne laughed at Minx's antics and finished her food, then decided to investigate. She nosed her way out of the kitchen into a dining area, and looked out the glass windows into the street. She didn't see any dogs there, but this was a good place to keep an eye on it. She went farther back into the kitchen, and saw another door, and upon opening it, she discovered some stairs. She wandered up them, and into a storage room, and further back, was another room yet. This was a round door knob however, and she decided not to try it, She went back downstairs and looked out into the alley, to check to see if it was clear back there. In the distance she saw an elegant dog, with flowing hair (Saorise). She gave a short bark to get her attention, and stayed half in and half out of the door. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Uvvi let her tongue loll out, "Yeah! I could teach you both how to catch them!" She sat on her haunches her tail thumping on the ground. She played down nervously glancing over her shoulder "I kinda want to get away before she wakes up." She was obviously talking about Luce as she sniffed in the direction they had came from. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Saorise | Current Location: Alley | Responding to: Cayenne's bark She had only been poking about for a moment or so before a short bark sent her spinning about, her figure sliding partially behind the dumpster. Her ears lay against her skull as she sought out the source of the sound, slight confusion flooding in before she finally spotted the one responsible, distantly hidden in a shadowed door way. Sucking in a wary breath, Saorise carefully examined the stranger before straightening her own posture, sensing no hostility for now. Emerging from behind the dumpster, the windhound bows her head in greeting, preferring not to call out. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Misha/ 1 yr. 8 m./ Mudi Dog The female dog's fur was slightly bristled along her back, but one couldn't really tell because of the curly texture. Misha kept a tense stance, only brightening when her previous companion bounded in a circle around them, looking happy. She folded her ears against her head and took a few steps away, anxiously turning in a circle and looking around their environment. Deciding it was better that she thought more about hunting later, she huffed. "Yes well, let's just go. We can figure out all the details later," Misha glanced towards Aspen and met his eyes, almost nervously. Then she turned and paced another few paces away, letting the others know to take the lead. 0 players like this post! Like? |
