Kade || Female || 5 years || Beta

Kade snarled in a fierce sort of glee. Her teeth sank in, to the bone, and she simply ignored the pain of his teeth in her muzzle. He really should have gone for somewhere else. He was at her mercy to drag, and she did, walking backwards. The feeling of her teeth scraping against his bone was unpleasant, but she ignored it, too. If she wanted, she could break his leg, but she felt she'd be able to get her point across without permanently maiming him.

Irritation finally broke through, and she crouched, before bowling into him. Because of the awkward angle he'd placed his head at, Kade had to be careful not to accidentally break his neck with her weight. By then, the beta's mouth was full of blood. Her jaws were still locked around Marcel's leg.

Luna|Female|1 yr. 2 months|Pup

Luna frowned a bit as Toki didn't seem to respond. She had wish to have him possibly as her travel buddy, but it seemed he sort of spaced out. As Aatu trotted to her asking if she would be his travel buddy she smiled, realizing she had pretty much shut him out. "Of course I will be your travel buddy!" Luna ran herself up along Aatu and started trotting after the group to catch up as she did she slowed down to look back to Aatu, "Coming slow poke?" Luna smiled waiting for him to catch up and come beside her. Her and Aatu had quite an age difference, but did it matter? Was it a big deal? Luna started to feel more mature and, confident in herself and didn't care how hold someone was, all she cared about was how she felt about them.

Luna continued on walking this time, tail swaying with each step, with her head lower, as if she was smelling the ground.

He chuckled, and then shrugged. "Im not sure, but whatever he did, Kade will teach him a lesson. We needn't a trouble maker. Discipline is at its hight, im sure, if he hasn't yet learned proper behavior. With Kade on the job, no doubt he'll learn quick." Solux huffed, then reganed his smile.

"Our pups will be well disciplined, intelligent, and strong. I can asure it, with our genes mixed and the proper training, yes?" Sol chuckled and gave Rivers a little nudge."They'll be perfect. "

Nova | | Female | | 3 years | | Fighter

Nova sighed in relief when Remington came out of the forest looking better than before, whether he was faking his health or not, Nova couldn’t be sure. All that mattered was that he had hidden his lapse in health and was confidently leading the pack. Nova knew she had distracted some of the wolves in the clearing, not all of them though, fortunately the wolves that had noticed Remington hadn’t seemed to have an interest in his rank. Nova couldn’t blame Velvet for rushing to see what was wrong with her mate especially since Nova had heard that she had formerly been a pup sitter and wouldn’t have understood the danger of bringing attention to the male alpha in his time of weakness. Nova knew that if she had a mate, she would be hard pressed not to rush to his side when danger threatened.

As Remington announced the pack was going to start traveling, Nova heard a heart wrenching howl echo through the woods, turning, Nova saw Raoula lower her muzzle and walk forward. Nova felt the emotion of the howl still echoing in her heart as Raoula approached her and asked to be her traveling partner. Nova nodded her head to Raoula in agreement not trusting her voice, as painful as Nova’s own recent past had been; she was beginning to realize that some of the wolves in the clearing had lost a whole family to the earthquake, the thought of such heartache was almost out of the realm of possibility for Nova, who felt every emotion with unusual and sometimes scary depth. She was feeling more emotionally exhausted at the moment then usual because of the speed of her changing emotions a few moments before. Being with a pack will be a lot more challenging than I thought, my time as a loner almost made me forget my uncontrollable feelings, it wasn’t this bad with Romak either... being with so many wolves will be a challenge, but I think it will be a worthwhile challenge. Nova was relieved no one had seemed to notice her short bout of rage in the clearing, or if they had they had, they hadn’t mentioned noticing anything. She knew she would have to eventually explain her problem before it got her into trouble, but she wanted to get to know the other wolves better, before she admitted to her emotional challenge.

Shaking of her thoughts Nova turned to the beautiful gray wolf at her side. Do you know the responsibilities the Fighter rank has,Raoula? Other than obviously fighting enemies, I mean. Nova padded along in her odd catlike walk, listening attentively for the female Hunter’s answer.

Marcel | Male | Fours Years Old | Pup | Mentions: Kade

His response to her teeth meeting the bone of his leg was to bite down harder himself. He could taste Kade's blood dripping into his mouth and the coppery tang nearly made him gag. This she-wolf was causing him more pain than he'd ever felt in his life, but even when she begun dragging him through the dirt like a piece of prey he refused to let go. Marcel's heart pounded erratically in his chest and the growling intensified. He had no idea if anyone else was paying attention to their tussle, but he hardly cared at the moment. The only thing he would dare focus on right now was getting her off of him.

When she suddenly seemed to slam her body against his Marcel was caught off guard and his fangs ripped through the skin on Kade's muzzle as he stumbled sideways. He gasped loudly in agony and the strain on his leg from how he'd fallen almost made him think it would snap in half if the Beta bit down any harder. "What are you? Some kind of psychopath!? Release me!" He demanded, attempting to kick at her. Why wasn't anyone helping him!? How could he be expected to travel after the wounds this wretched demon female was causing? 'You'll be left behind to die!' A voice in his head seemed to mock him. "Release me!" He howled again in more of a panic now, tossing himself around, likely doing more damage by struggling in such a way than Kade would have inflicted herself.

Raoula|Female|4 years old|Hunter

Raoula smiled as Nova walked beside her. There was still an ache in her heart for her pack, but she was safe now, and needed to build a new future. She had survived the earthquake against all odds, along with these other wolves, and she was going to need a new life. Her tail wagged as she walked after the rest of the pack with Nova at her side, and for a moment, as the sunlight bathed her face, she felt almost whole again. She turned to Nova, hearing her question. "Uh, well, you'd need to make sure the pack was safe, guard the pups especially...I'm not sure, my old pack didn't really have need of Fighters," she finished rather lamely. The Fighters in her old pack only seemed to do something other than lie around and eat when danger threatened.

Aatu|Male|5 years old|Fighter

Aatu smiled happily when Luna agreed to be his traveling partner. He had taken a shine to the pup and was content to follow after her. When she stopped to tease him he sped up, running past the pup and skidding to a stop in a cloud of dust. "You bet!" he told her.
Marcel and Kade appeared to be fighting, and Aatu flattened his ears as he watched them. Surely his packmates weren't fighting already? "Come on, guys, and stop fighting already!" he called.

Kade || Female || 5 years || Beta female

Kade snarled even as the top of her muzzle was torn to shreds. Her wrath burned bright and hot, but was tempered by this pup's pitiful 'fighting'. With a slight sigh, she let him go. "No, no, no," she said. "Thrashing about like that will only hurt you even more." The beta felt a flash of irritation at Aatu.

"He'll learn to respect those of higher rank than he. And if he won't learn it the easy way, I'll beat it into him," Kade snapped back at Aatu. "And teach him to fight properly while I'm at it. I'm having to go out of my way not to hurt him too badly."

Even though blood was dripping down her face, Kade sat down and waited for Marcel to stop moving. "And if I get your leg, don't try to bite my muzzle. Yes, it hurts, but it won't make me get off of you."


Rivers || Female || 3 years || Scout || Mate of Sollux

Rivers grinned and wagged her tail happily. "Yeah. It's best we teach them dicipline and respect before Kade has to," she laughed. "I almost feel bad for Marcel, but he did start it. He actually hit Kade on the nose with his tail . . . Which looks like it's broken now." Something about Marcel felt fake, like he was pretending to be someone else. And Kade was most likely exceptionally good at sniffing out liars, with her years as an alpha, which would explain her aggression. The beta was probably trying to get him to either show his true colors, and the fact that she got hand his ass to him in a fight was a bonus.

Velvet || Female || 4 years || Remington’s Mate || Alpha Female
Velvet’s appearance

Velvet heard Remington’s reason for why he went off but didn’t look so sure. She made her mind up to trust what he told her though. That’s what mates were about, trusting each other completely and being there if the other needed you. She stepped forward and nuzzled under her mate’s neck, tail wagging. ”I’m glad,” she told him, ”I don’t know what I’d do without you.” She stepped back and shook her head at his question. ”I’m afraid not, but I’ll go and do that quickly before we leave.” She trotted back to the pack, sniffing out the only males who she’d yet to speak to. ”Cypherous and Maddox, I believe?” she asked, tilting her head, ”I’m Velvet, alpha female of this pack. My mate, Remington, accepted you into the pack but has yet to give you a rank.”

She first looked over the hetero eyed wolf with the dark pelt. He looked strong, his build much like that of the fighters of her old pack. ”You shall be a fighter,” she told him with a smile. She turned to the other and thought it over for a moment. ”With the pack growing bigger we need to keep them all fed. Can you join the hunters? So far we only have three, Dakota, Sollux and Raoula. Although I expect them to be good, I don’t think only three can feed our pack on the move. It would be a great help if you were working with them.”

Remington announced to the group that they would now be leaving, and Velvet skipped a little in excitement. ”I look forward to getting to know the two of you,” she smiled, batting her eyes. Compared to her usual self it could barely be considered flirting, an attempt to cover up that side of her out of respect to Remington, but still that side slipped out sometimes. She ran over to follow Remington through the forest, gait bouncing. When she caught up to him, she nudged his side, ”Hello, my alpha, are you feeling better?”

She noticed the rest of the pack pairing up, everyone having at least one wolf to travel with. It was strange for a wolf pack to be migratory, rather than staying in their territory, so was strange for wolves to need to travel all together. They didn’t know the lands they were in, unlike usual packs, so couldn’t spread out and just know where to meet each other. She chuckled a little when she saw Kade discipline Marcel, rolling her eyes when his struggling made to bite turn into a pretty serious injury. That would probably be painful for a while, she thought.

”That serves him right,” she muttered to herself, not normally spiteful but still feeling wrong about how he’d acted around her, ”He should know better than to act like that around the beta.” She glanced to her mate, ”Remington, do you know why he acts that way?” To her it seemed like arrogance and disrespect, but Remington had accepted him into the pack so surely he must have seen something redeeming in the unusual wolf.

Marcel | Male | Fours Years Old | Pup | Mentions: Kade, Aatu

Once Kade finally released him he flopped fully onto the ground, panting heavily. His tail hurt horribly and seemed as if it was bent at an odd angle and his foreleg ached from Kade's strong bite. He wasn't sure which felt worse right now. Marcel curled in on himself defensively for a moment. Trying to catch his breath and regain any sense of dignity he could muster after this pitiful incident. He couldn't keep his body from trembling in a mix of fear and rage. He'd never been in a fight before today and it had surely showed.

He didn't pay any attention to what she said to Aatu, too absorbed in his own misery. By the time he'd managed to calm himself down enough to roll back up onto his paws he wasn't even sure how much time had passed. Hopefully he hadn't been lying there on the ground looking like a big pathetic lump for too long. His left front leg was held slightly off of the ground, unable to put pressure on it and his tail seared with pain no matter how he tried to move it. "Where was I supposed to bite then!?" He snapped back in bad temper. Apparently having learned nothing.

Kade || Female || 5 years || Beta

Kade just sort of sighed. "I just almost broke your leg and crippled you for the rest of what short life you'd have had, and you're going to give me an attitude?" she said, looking down at the male. "Really, I'd have though even you'd know better. And it would have been a better idea to go for my neck." He really is either stupid or incredibly inexperienced, she thought to herself. Even pups knew to go for the throat if you could.

By then, she was sitting; Marcel had been curled up for the better part of ten minutes. Kade doubted that he would be very rude to her, after that, because next time, she would break his leg and leave him for dead. Former alphas were to be treated with respect, unless they'd been a really terrible alpha, and even more so because she was a beta.

Twist || Female || 4 Years || Omega

Twist looks over at the fight between Kade and Marcel, flinching as she notices his tail. At least he still had one; his could heal and he wouldn't manage to lose nearly half the blood in his body. Her eyes soften, and she hauls herself to her paws, slowly padding over to him. She avoids Kade's eyes, though not because she was scared of the female. She had been abused greatly by her former pack's beta female, moreso than any other wolf. She would likely never trust one again, despite knowing Kade had nothing against her personally. She couldn't, could she? Twist had been nothing but courteous towards the femme since joining the pack. There was nothing for the beta to be upset with her over.

The mangled female looks to Marcel, her eyes kind and gentle. "Make sure you keep those clean. If you need help, you can lean on me or ask for anything. You should probably rinse off the blood in a stream, or else it'll harden and you'll have a hell of a time washing it away. If I were you, I wouldn't move your tail too much. It'll hurt for a while until the bone heals, and even then it'll ache every now and again. It seems like it may be broken, though there's nothing we can do about that unless you want me to chop it off, but I don't recommend it. Been there, done that. Not fun. Your leg seems fine, besides for the obvious. I'm sure Kade didn't break it. You'd be fairly useless then. Though it'll hurt, too. But like I said, you can lean on me of you want to." She instructs quietly, knowing the small things a wolf would do to keep away infection from her many injuries. Many of which were quite serious and she was lucky she'd survived them, if you could call her pitiful fight for survival lucky.

She wasn't sure the male would take her advise to heart or simply laugh at her because she was an omega, but it didn't hurt to try. She glances up to Kade, inclining her head slightly in greeting. How stupid could Marcel be for pissing her off? It was obvious he would be injured. He was certainly old enough to know this, unless he was a complete idiot.

Marcel | Male | Fours Years Old | Pup | Mentions: Kade, Twist, Cyber

It was truly an incredible feat for Marcel that nothing else sarcastic or disrespectful left his mouth at this point. He had so much to say waiting at the tip of his tongue, but forced himself to bite it back. He was in enough pain and this strange she-wolf was obviously cruel enough to brutally murder him if he tried to speak out again. The skin on his muzzle twitched, wanting to pull back over his teeth and snap at her again. She wanted, no, she demanded his respect? She'd never have it. Not this way. Marcel didn't respect others easily and when he did it was because they deserved it. He barely knew Kade.

The other wolves could go on and on about how real pack wolves always respected their beta no matter what. Even if they were hardly likable. Personally his response to that would be he thought it a load of dog crap. He diverted his gaze for the time-being before he had the chance to say or do anything else he'd regret later, limping past her with a grunt to try and catch up with the rest of the pack. He might listen to her orders from now on to save his own skin, but he would never respect her. His gait was uneven and clumsy now that he temporarily had only three legs to walk with and his tail hung low and crooked, looking a ragged, bloody mess. Raven had left Cyber's side and was about to fret over him. "Go back to your traveling partner. I'm fine!" He barked harshly, too embarrassed and shamed by his pathetic performance to accept any comfort from his friend.

Raven looked hurt, ears flattening against his skull. He glanced over Marcel uncertainly once more before hurrying back to the she-wolf he'd been walking with previously. Marcel jumped a bit once Twist began padding up beside him a moment later, giving instructions on how to properly tend to his wounds. He was about to snap at the battered looking little female as well before deciding against it. He could use as many friends as he could get at this point. Cyber had looked as if she'd rather avoid him before she'd trotted off and Raven was probably sulking after being snapped at. "I...thank you for your advice. Though I don't see any streams around here," he finally forced out, trying to sound grateful. If she really thought he would lean on her Twist was crazy though. He walked on in silence after that. Head lowering slightly the further they moved. 'They all think you're stupid. A dumb and useless pup,' he thought to himself bitterly, wishing he'd never agreed to join these wolves.

Kade || Female || 5 years || Beta

Kade automatically dipped her head to Twist in greeting. "I'm sorry you had to see that, Twist," she said quietly. "But blatant disrespect cannot be tolerated, or the pack will descend into chaos, and we will never reach our destination."

As she trotted away, following the rest of the pack, the beta remembered that her muzzle was dripping blood. With irritation, Kade went over to the small pool someone had told her about when she'd first met these wolves, and washed her wounds, before following.

Kade ended up a mile or so to the left of the main group, but running at the same pace.

Cyber | Female | 3 years | Pup Sitter

Cyber watched as Kade and Marcel began to fight. Every part of her wanted to run to his rescue, but Kade was beta and she needed to respect her decisions. Cyber watched as Kade attempted to teach him a lesson. Finally, the fight stopped and Kade left. Cyber was about to go see him when Raven and Twist went to his side instead. Silently, Cyber watched him talk to them, and decided to give the hurt wolf some space. He didn't seem to want any attention at the moment, and since he was an adult, she respected that.

"Are you okay?" Cyber asked Raven as he came walking back to her. He seemed sad or upset. She gave in a friendly nudge with her shoulder on his. She looked over at Marcel and saw that he was badly hurt. She felt bad for the poor wolf. She wanted to leave him be, but he looked like he was in pain. "I'll be right back," she told Raven, as she began walking over to Marcel. When she got closer to him, she took a careful look at his wounds. "You should probably clean those," she said, guestering to the injuries on his tail and leg. "Do you need help?" She asked softly. She didn't want him to feel embarrassed over what had happened. Things like this happened a lot in her old pack, except it was towards omegas. She looked around at all the wolves and was confused at their reaction. She understood that it was a beta who inflicted this on him, but this could affect their travel time greatly; unless they weren't planning on waiting for him. Cyber made a decision to stay with him and Raven if anything were to happen where they got left behind. Cyber wouldn't judge the alphas if they got abandoned, they weren't blood-related and they might end up slowing down the group. Cyber waited with Marcel, hoping Raven would join them.

Dakota | Male | 2 years | Lead Hunter

Dakota soon realized that everyone was pairing up. He looked around at the group for a partner, when Kade and Marcel began fighting. He watched from a distance. When Kade finally released her grasp on him and left, he decided to see if he was ok. He got there to see Marcel snap at Raven and Twist try to give him advice. "You should listen to the omega," he told the wounded wolf, smiling. "Welcome to the wild," he said jokingly. "You gave Kade a pretty nasty cut on her face, huh? I'm sure she's a 'forgive and forget' kind of wolf anyway," he laughed. When Cyber came along, Dakota decided to leave to find a partner.

He examined the group once more and decided to ask Twist. "Hey, need a partner?" He asked, smiling. He walked up beside her and looked her over. She looked pretty beat-up and, well, broken. He felt bad for her. He couldn't imagine the abuse she went through. Omegas weren't treated so bad in his pack; his father believed no being was of higher importance than the other. Some knew more things or were capable of more skills than others, but no one was to look down on another simply because they didn't have self-confidence. He watched her stance and how she carried herself. She reminded him of one of his many older sibling. She acted smaller than the rest, but his father took her for a long walk to have one-on-one time and she changed. Dakota could only hope someone could do the same for her.

Remington || Male || 4 years || Alpha
Remington's Face Remington's Body(more muscle though)

As Velvet trotted up to his side he smiled and nudge her head with his gently and then looked at everyone following close behind. He was strong minded, but it is in a wolfs chemistry that once they get to hunger they start to get aggressive and will kill almost any other living thing. Remington tried to ignore the hunger and thirst and continued walking until he hear Velvet lightly breathe something. "What is Kade doing?" Remington was not aware of what Kade had been doing, but once he caught the smell of blood he flashed his teeth and trotted towards the back seeing Marcel banged up quite a bit. "Marcel, are you alright? My apologies I let this happen, I will deal with it." Remington could smell it was the work of Kade and got upset, but since he was starving his rage was even stronger. As Remington started heading back up to the front by Velvet he looked back to Marcel, "It would be best if you partnered with someone you feel comfortable with and stay away from Kade."

Remington was upset Kade did such a thing as to discipline a member of the pack like that shedding blood on both sides. He waited until he saw Kade return and growled loudly. He looked to Velvet and licked her cheek, "Whatever you do lovely don't interfere, no matter what happens." He then quickly ran up to the front of Kade quickly stopping to stir up dust and snapped his teeth at her, he started circling her. "Please tell me exactly Kade why you decided to take matters into your own paws and discipline a member of this pack, shedding blood without even consulting with me about it first? You or Marcel could have gotten hurt a lot worse than this! It is not your job to just teach someone in this pack a lesson like that without at lest telling me first! Remington continued circling growling deeply at Kade waiting for her response, "If there is some sort of anger inside you, or some messed up thing going on take it out on me, because once we get to the mountains and start on our way I will not tolerate foolishness, the smell of blood attracts many of all shapes and sizes and could risk the life of the whole pack! So Kade is there something you need to say or blow off your steam? Because picking on someone not even close to your size is low, so here is your chance to pick on someone your own size!" Remington then puffed out his chest raising his head high making his circle around Kade smaller.

Remington was usually not this aggressive, but the thirst and hunger was driving him crazy, and this stupid act just set of the trigger to the bomb. He wanted to look up at Velvet, but was not taking his eyes off of Kade, he was putting her in her place stand up or shut up was what he was trying to establish.
